🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This October, we’re joining millions around the world in raising awareness for breast cancer.

Today, our staff are wearing Pink💗 to show our support for everyone affected by this disease.

By wearing pink, we stand together with patients, survivors, families, colleagues and loved ones — helping spread awareness and encouraging early detection and reminding how important it is to:
💗 Be breast aware – check yourself regularly and know what’s normal for you
💗Speak to your GP if you notice any changes
💗Attend your breast screening appointments when invited

Early detection saves lives. If you have any concerns, please don’t wait — contact us for advice.

Important Notice - Planned Practice Closure

The practice will be closed on the afternoon of the afternoon of:

Greater Manchester are currently experiencing a server issue and we are unable to access our appointment booking system at this time. This affects both new appointment bookings and access to existing patient records.

What a wonderful surprise to receive a visit from children and staff from a local nursery to deliver cards to celebrate the work of the NHS, which celebrates it’s 77th birthday tomorrow. We feel very touched by the fantastic cards ☺️

GP practices across Salford South East PCN will have monthly half-day closures from Wednesday, 21 May 2025.

Thanks to the support from Salford Primary Care Together, patients can continue to access patient healthcare services.

During staff training hours, please call 0161 983 0641 for support with:

✅️ Same-day urgent care
✅️ Acute prescriptions
✅️ Face-to-face and remote health consultations
✅️ Urgent home visits (where clinically appropriate

The practice will be closed on the afternoon of Wednesday 21 May 2025 for staff training (13:30 -18:30) We will re-open on the following morning Thursday 22nd May at 08.00am.

Salford Primary Care Together will be providing an urgent support service for urgent requests for appointments, home visits or prescriptions and can be contacted on 01619830641 when the practice is closed that afternoon.
