🎱💬 Bingo fun at Care UK - Salisbury Manor Care Home

Laughter, friendly rivalry and plenty of “house!” calls filled the room as our residents enjoyed an afternoon of bingo. 🎉

It’s always wonderful to see everyone getting involved — eyes down, dabbers ready and smiles all round! 😄

We can’t wait for the next game… who’ll be our next lucky winner? 🏆

Today at Salisbury Manor Care Home , we paused for a quiet moment of remembrance — two minutes of silence accompanied by the beautiful music of D-Day Dolly. 🌺

Our residents also enjoyed a cake sale in aid of the Royal British Legion. A simple, heartfelt way to honour and remember.

A big thank you to Justin from Dementia Friendly Barbers, who visited today to treat our residents to fresh haircuts and traditional wet shaves. 💦💇‍♂️

Let’s Help Salisbury Pantry – Bring a Tin to Work Initiative

At SSalisbury Manor Care Homewe’re supporting SSalisbury Pantry, a local food bank, currently helping 300–400 people and 350 children every week.

We’re inviting you to take part in our “Bring a Tin to Work” initiative. Simply bring along one or more of the following items and pop them into the SSalisbury Pantrycollection bin in the Bistro at SSalisbury Manor Care Home
• Tinned meat or meatballs
• Tinned tomatoes or jam
• Pasta or rice
• Packets of biscuits
• Multipack crisps

Every tin and packet will make a real difference to someone in need within our community.

Let’s work together to support SSalisbury Pantryand help those less fortunate this autumn.

We were delighted to welcome Salisbury Royal British Legion , Boscombe Down personnel, and 1010 (City of Salisbury) Squadron Air Training Corps who joined our residents, families and friends here at Salisbury Manor to remember the Battle of Britain.

It was a fantastic afternoon with music, games and plenty of community spirit – and even the rain held off so everyone could enjoy Pimm’s and afternoon tea in the garden ☀️🍰🍓

A heartfelt thank you to all who joined us and helped make the day so special 🇬🇧✈️💙
