I posted this in my Autumn newsletter, but I felt It’s such an important message I wanted to share it here also

🌱 A Client Story That Reminds Us All - One of my clients recently told me how she’d been feeling very overwhelmed (sound familiar?) and juggling a lot ... family, work and some personal health challenges that could easily have pulled her off track and even give up. Instead of pushing harder or giving up, she did something brave… she paused.

She listened to her body - instead of the voice telling her to just ignore it and keep going. She focused on small, kind actions: eating well, resting properly, and above all - being patient with herself. That gentle approach helped her feel stronger, calmer and more in control again. Proof that real progress doesn’t alway's come from pressure, but from self-compassion. That what feel's like a step backwards, really is a committed step forward.

Lately, I’ve been seeing a change. Maybe you’ve felt it too. The darker mornings, heavier evenings. Pressures to keep everyone happy, to hold it all together … while quietly running on empty yourself?

Anxiety is a real thing and it’s a killer. This time of year can be really hard. With all the pressures and trigger. It all can add up.

If this is you, please know you’re not alone - and it doesn’t have to stay that way. Sometimes all it takes is a few small steps, the right support and a space where you don’t have to pretend to be okay.

How to Manage Health Anxiety?

This is a very real thing. When you're not feeling yourself and every little twinge in your body sends your mind spiralling - and you’re left exhausted from it . . . that’s health anxiety. It can trap you in a cycle of checking, Googling and endless dread. It feels so real because your body believes it. Putting you in a cycle on anxiety and symptoms.

Here’s the truth: fear isn’t your enemy. It’s a signal your mind and body need support.

This is the work I do with clients - discovering root causes, calming the nervous system, reshaping anxious thoughts, and reconnecting with the body safely. You’ll have tool’s going forward so fear stops restricting your life, and you can start living again.

Quick & fresh Lunch Inspo 🌿🍳

Super fast homemade flatbreads made in minutes using yogurt instead of water – no proving, no fuss, just pan-fried perfection. Seasoned & dried herbs inside. Topped with creamy scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and a little olive oil drizzle.
On the side - a simple tomato & basil salad. And some creamy extra mature cheese.

Perfect mix of protein, healthy fats, and colour on a plate ✨ And enough dough left over for bread another day 🥖 🍅

Leftovers! With a Moroccan kick ☀️

🫓 I made these golden, garlicky flatbreads from dough balls I saved in the fridge from yesterday. Pan-fried until puffed and crispy, then coated in homemade garlic & herb butter - all melty and rich. (Microwaved for a few seconds to soften)

🍗 Sliced up leftover BBQ chicken breast, gave it a spice rub and a quick pan-fry to bring it back to life — juicy, crispy edges, full of flavour.

Served with a generous scoop of Moroccan-spiced hummus for dipping, a cooling chilli yogurt drizzle made from the last bit of garlic butter, Greek yogurt and chilli oil. Topped it all with pomegranate jewels, spinach, and fresh tomatoes.

Waste nothing, eat everything.

🔥 Homemade Flatbreads with a Kick 🫓

Woke up thinking about flatbreads! … So I made some 😄

🫓 Flatbreads:
Mix 500g white flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt. Slowly add 300ml water, mix, knead into a soft dough. Cover and rest while prepping the toppings.

🔥Spiced Chickpeas:
In a pan, add 2 cans of chickpeas (with a bit of the water), 2 chopped garlic cloves, smoked paprika, a dollop of chilli boost paste, lemon zest + juice. Pan-fry until saucy and sizzling.

🧄 🧈 Garlic Butter Mushrooms:
Chop mushrooms + garlic, parsley, and a k**b of butter. Wrap in foil and grill over fire until tender.

🌿 Back to the dough:
Divide into 8, roll into balls, then flatten into rustic circles. Brush with oil and grill until bubbly and golden. Finish with garlic herb butter—melts like a dream.

🍋 Serve with:
Greek yoghurt swirled with chilli oil, a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds, lemon wedges, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Few dough balls leftover to cover in the fridge and use tomorrow 😍 What would you put on yours?
