Hands up who’s felt the cold this week! 🍁🍂

As the weather cools down and we now have the heating on, it’s time to adjust your skincare routine for the season. Here are a few tips to keep your skin glowing and youthful through the Autumn and Winter period. 🍂

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate💧

The cooler air can dry out your skin. Switch to a richer moisturiser to lock in hydration.

Combat Dry Air 🔥- Central heating can suck moisture from the air, leading to dry, irritated skin. Consider using a humidifier to maintain moisture levels in your home and keep your skin balanced.

Taking Baths 🛁 - Choose a bath over a hot shower, long showers in hot water remove moisture from your skin, your better to shower in warm water just long enough to soap up and rinse off. Instead have a bath and add nourishing bath oils.

Incorporate Retinol ✨- Autumn is the perfect time to add retinol into your routine if you don’t already use it in your evening routine. It helps boost cell turnover and reduces fine lines. Start slow to avoid irritation!

Vitamin C for Brightening 🍊- Keep your skin glowing by adding a Vitamin C serum in the morning to brighten and protect your skin from environmental damage.

Exfoliate Gently 🍂 - Remove dead skin cells without over-exfoliating. Aim for 1-2 times a week to reveal fresh, radiant skin.

Don’t Skip SPF ☀️- UV rays are still around, even on cloudy days. Keep applying SPF to protect your skin.

Treat Your Lips 💋- Keep a nourishing lip balm on hand to prevent chapping.
