TEA AND TALK
Last week we held our first Tea & Talk session for our Salisbury Carers, Head Office Staff, and clients at our Head Office in Salisbury, it was her on Wednesday 25 March 2026.

Tea & Talk is all about bringing together our wonderful carers and the people they care for in a relaxed and friendly way. It was an opportunity to enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake, have a chat and spend some time together.

Whether you popped in for a short visit or stayed for longer, we loved seeing you there.

We had a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our England Home Care team to thank them for all their incredible hard work and enjoying some relaxed time together.

Moments like these are a great reminder of our mission to put the heart back into Abicare. Prioritising time with one another and showing genuine appreciation for both our staff and our clients.

We warmly welcome Rebecca Williams, our new Clinical Lead for Hospital@Home.

Rebecca has worked in healthcare for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience from roles in occupational health, acute medicine, community care and nursing leadership. Her career has included positions with organisations such as National Grid, MCL Medics and Barchester Healthcare.

As Clinical Lead, Rebecca will oversee our clinical team, strengthen governance and standards, and support the growth of the Hospital@Home service so we can deliver safe, high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Rebecca is passionate about compassionate, person-centred care and believes services like Hospital@Home are vital for the future of healthcare.

Hospital@Home provides hospital-level care at home, helping patients avoid unnecessary hospital stays while still receiving expert clinical support, treatment and monitoring.

When she’s not working, Rebecca lives in Swansea with her husband and two children. She’s very involved in her local community as a school governor and PTFA chair, enjoys caravan trips around the UK with her family, and long walks with their energetic dog.

We’re excited to have Rebecca join the team and look forward to the experience and leadership she will bring to the service.

Exciting news!
Launching in soon, Abicare are delighted to be partnering with Healix Health to introduce our bespoke Hospital@Home care provision.

Created to help ease pressure on the NHS while giving patients greater choice, we’ll be working closely with local hospitals to support earlier discharge for you or your loved ones. Our tailored care packages can include specialist nursing, physiotherapy, and allied clinical services – all delivered safely and comfortably at home.

Hospital-level support, delivered with compassion in the place people feel most at ease. Our flexible approach means care can adapt to the patient’s needs, whether that means increasing support, adjusting services, or taking a pause when required.

It’s hospital support, but not as you know it — with the patient at the heart of everything we do.
