Hand in Hand is run by Suzy Wright, an experienced local midwife. We offer antenatal courses for first time parents and parents with children already. There is one group course per month consisting of 3 antenatal classes in which you'll learn how to reduce & relieve pain in all phases of your labour into the birth & bonding phase. We use bean bags, birthing balls & yoga mats in our classes so come with your Birth Partner & wear loose and comfortable clothing. We will be holding our 'Wealth, Power and Passion' tour throughout the day, which explores three remarkable women who are featured and remembered in Salisbury Cathedral. During Evensong, you can enjoy music by all female composers including Walker, MacDowall and Daley. Then at 7.30pm former political prisoner Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe will be in conversation with The Rt Revd Karen Gorham, Bishop of Sherborne. If you were unable to secure a ticket, the talk will be live streamed on our website.
