Angela Winstanley Massage and Aromatherapy Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy, Aromatherapeutic facials Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils for therapeutic purposes.

Massage & Aromatherapy can help relieve conditions such as; back pain, headaches, stress, anxiety and tension, muscle pain and cramp, digestive problems, sciatica and arthritis. It also helps with circulation, high blood pressure, boosting the immune system, menopause and PMT, improve skin and restore energy. For those practising sports, massage helps to prevent injury, speeds the healing of damaged tissues and muscles and increases fitness capabilities and performance potential. The oils can benefit the muscles and body greatly. Oils with analgesic, warming and anti-inflammatory qualities can be used to help those with muscular aches and pains or sports injuries. I use many oils that contain different qualities and can use those best suited to your particular needs. There are many oils that are particularly good for emotional and psycological problems as well.

We hear Frankincense and Myrrh mentioned a lot at this time of year. Do you know why they were such significant gifts? They were both as valuable as gold at the time of Jesus. Frankincense is said to elevate the mind to the threshold of the spiritual world. It is an antiseptic, purifier and cleanser. It deepens breath. Frankincense was used to prepare bodies for burial at the time of Jesus. Perhaps an indicatior/link of what was to come for Jesus. Myrrh was used for cleansing rituals and fumigation. It is an anaesthetic, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic. It is also anti-catarrhal, anti-inflammatory and sedative. It is also a very grounding oil.

Try using coconut oil on your body instead of your regular moisuriser after a bath, or shower. It absorbs easily, is light, contains no nasties, smells good, and doesn't leave a brown stain on your clothes like other oils. Better still come to me for a massage and I'll make you a blend of oils with essential oils added.
