Hello everyone, we hope you are all well and staying safe. It has been a frustrating wait but we didn’t want to reopen until we had all the required measures in place to properly care for our patients and staff.
We are happy to say that Opula Opticians will be reopening on Wednesday 1st July, when we will be able to offer contact lens collections, attend to repairs and order replacement spectacles for those of you who need them. We will also start booking eye examinations and expect the first ones to take place during week commencing 6th July. However, we will have a reduced number of appointments available due to extended examination times and, initially, a reduction in the number of testing days each week. Consequently, we would ask that only those of you with urgent eye care needs, or if you feel there has been a significant change in your vision, make appointments at this time, but please feel free to ring the practice for advice.
We will be working to increase the number of available appointments over the next few weeks so if you were due for a routine eye examination while the practice was closed, and you don’t have any urgent eye care needs, please wait for us to get in touch.
