There is a lift to each floor and free WiFi is available throughout the building. Rowan House has been established for over 25 years and is situated in an elevated position in the small, bustling Cornish town of Saltash with beautiful views across Plymouth Sound.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Paul from Apetito who came in to showcase the brand-new spring menu for our residents!

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the tasting session, sampling a variety of delicious seasonal dishes. There were lots of smiles, great conversations, and plenty of positive feedback about the fresh flavours on offer.

A big thank you to Paul for taking the time to visit us and introduce such a wonderful selection of meals. We’re looking forward to seeing these tasty new additions on our menu very soon!

We are incredibly proud to share that Becky and Maddie have now successfully completed the Six Steps Programme with St Luke’s Hospice πŸ‘

This is a wonderful achievement and reflects our continued commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality end of life care.

As part of this journey, our home will soon be going through the Organisational Verification for End of Life Care, further strengthening the support we provide to our residents and their families.

Our team have also been working closely with local partners to enhance their knowledge and understanding. Staff recently had behind-the-scenes tours with Walter Parsons Funeral Directors and at Plymouth Crematoria. These visits have given our team valuable insight, enabling them to better reassure families, answer questions, and provide informed, sensitive support during such an important time.

In May, Rowan House will be hosting a meeting with representatives from the crematorium as part of Dying Matters Week. This will be an open and supportive session, and everyone is very welcome to attend. More details will follow soon.

We are so proud of our team for their dedication to ensuring dignity, compassion, and understanding are at the heart of everything we do. 🌻🌻

We've decided to celebrate valentines all week at Rowan House, because why not!!! Sharing love around the home is what it's all about!

Our amazing activities co ordinator surprised everyone with some lovely gifts, dipped strawberries, prosecco and wine.

And our very own cupid gave everyone a laugh with dancing!
