🤶🏻 Christmas market 🎅🏼

After the huge success of their Halloween event, Ansom Events are hosting another festive community gathering on 30 November 11-2pm in Saltash Social Club.

I’ve booked a stall myself as it’s a great chance to meet customers and get into the Christmas spirit. I’ll be selling massage vouchers, essential oils, and offering hand massages while the kids enjoy writing letters, sweet hunting, meeting Father Christmas, or making elves with Jelly Bears Workshop

🍞 Loafing about 🍞

I came home to a delicious smell of fresh baked products, that my son picked up from Saltash Bakery. He said he sat on the clock, because he wanted to be on time for the collection. 😉

I looked at my empty bread bin and thought how many rolls I could put in. It turns out one, because after that it’s not empty anymore. 🤷‍♀️

I pondered further about the difference between sweet Louisa and her fresh loaf. Any idea? One is a well-bred maid and the other is well-made bread. 😃

🐾 The power of pet therapy 🐾

We’ve all heard about the benefits of pet therapy. Spending time with animals can lift our mood, ease stress, and even improve our overall well-being. But did you know that even watching cute animal videos can trigger the release of endorphins, those “feel-good” chemicals in our brains? 🧠✨

A friend’s daughter actually proved this point in real life. She started a TikTok account dedicated entirely to her kitten, posting short, adorable clips and photos. Her page has gained an amazing following simply because people love the joy and calm that comes from watching a playful cat.

Here are some photos I took of different furry breeds for you to enjoy. I hope they’ll bring a smile to your day (and who knows, maybe I’ll get a few more followers too 😉).

I personally love both dogs and cats, they each bring something special to our lives.

🎃 Pumpkins Galore! 🍂

I’ve been really enjoying everything pumpkin lately. I think they’re such a perfect symbol of autumn and “H”. I love their vibrant orange colour and tasty flavour (even the seeds - toasted and salted, are a treat).

I was amazed to discover so many different varieties. I’ve learned about spaghetti and onions pumpkins on my trip.

While I was admiring the real pumpkins, my boy and his friends had the best time creating their own cuddly pumpkin cat and cute little ghosts. Thank you Jelly Bears Workshop . 🐈‍⬛👻
