Some while ago, I (Encore Uniforms) said I would sponsor a few T shirts for my grandson’s gig crew, Cotehele Quay Gig Clubb, as they were going to be rowing in the Great River Race, on the Thames in London, in September.
Well, you would, wouldn’t you? 🥰
Fast forward to Saturday just gone, race day!
I only know a couple of the crew and I know they have been training really hard but imagine my absolute excitement and complete pride when I heard they had won! - Under 16 Champions!!
What an absolutely incredible achievement by this group of young people on their first try!
It takes dedication, hard work, commitment and TEAM WORK from everyone involved not forgetting, of course, all the adults and parents!
