Woodside Surgery is sad to announce that after 41.5 years as a GP in Loftus Dr Glasby is retiring on Tuesday 28th April 2026.
We are sure people will join us in wishing him well in his retirement.
We will be having a celebration of his time as a GP in Loftus Town Hall on Saturday 2nd May between 10 am and 12 pm if anyone would like to come and say Bon Voyage.
There is a book in the surgery if anyone would like to leave a message for him, just ask the receptionist.
We look forward to seeing you as we wish Dr Glasby a sad farewell and a long and happy retirement.

From 1st October Woodside surgery is offering COVID-19 boosters and flu vaccinations to help keep you safe through the colder months.

Who’s eligible for the COVID-19 booster?
💉Adults aged 75 and over (including those turning 75 by 17 June 2025)
💉Residents in older adult care homes
💉People aged 6 months and older who are immunosuppressed

Who can get the flu vaccine?
💉Everyone aged 65 and over
💉Pregnant women
💉People with certain long-term health conditions
💉Carers and frontline health and social care workers

Getting your flu jab and COVID-19 booster will provide the best protection this season.
