Apologies for the late replies with messages everyone. When I’ve not been seeing clients, we’ve been beavering away with some salon refurbs over the past couple of weeks.
We now have a lovely cosy private room, which is absolutely perfect for any clients wishing for some quiet chill time and for any of my hair loss queens 🙌🏼 It was well needed. I’ll get some pics up tomorrow. See you all soon. Lisa

Im a little late with this. My feet haven’t touched the ground since I got back from holiday! But as promised, here’s my personal top tips and product choices that kept my hair safe on holiday this year! And I actually swam…I even snorkelled this year 😝 still can’t believe it, I loved it!

First up, I made the decision to remove some of my hair extensions. I wear 2 tracks of hair typically, but dropped this down to just 1, which made everything so much easier! So if the option is there for you to remove completely (which is always the best option) or take a little out, I would definitely recommend! It can go straight back in after your hols.

We all know (hopefully 🙏🏼) that suncreams are the absolute enemy for hair extensions! The discolouration is wild! So the only option is to keep hair well away from the skin and wash hands after applying and if your going to enjoy some cocktails, just try and remember all this if you decide to whip your hair down in your holiday happiness frenzy 🤣🍹

Hats are my best friend on holiday. There are so many to choose from. A good hat can look amazing and will protect your hair and scalp from UV rays, which can cause discolouration super fast. So always invest in a good hat.

My shampoo choices were colour wow colour security. They sell in smaller bottles, so it was much easier for the weight limits! Although I did nearly run out. 🙈

A HUGE tip is if you know your going to get your hair wet, so pools, sea, water parks etc, rinse your hair throughly firstly with fresh shower water and then apply either the Philip Kingsley swim cap product or just your conditioner will do. Hair is porous and will take in the fresh water and product initially, which will give it a little protection from absorbing access amounts of nasty chemicals that can be in pools. I also never let my hair dry after, I would always go and give it a thorough wash afterwards before it dried.

Once I’ve washed it’s time for products to keep my hair feeling nourished. I took with me the Remi cachet blow dry spray, which I absolutely love!

After about a week I did noticed my colour beginning to change ever so slightly, which I totally expected given how much water and sun I had been enjoying. Even with all the care, it’ll still happen. So I took with me the Malibu hard water sachets to remove any impurities and gave it a little colour refresh with the Malibu blondes product. I did this once! And it totally worked.

Holiday hair care is another level, prevention is always better than cure and everyone should expect some change, just as you would your natural hair. But hopefully these tips may help a holiday hair disaster in the future 🙏🏼
