Pinky is truly the foundation of Ichor Health. She’s the calm, reassuring voice you hear each month during our meditation sessions, and one of the kindest people you could ever meet always ready to help, support, and listen.

No. Cancer is not a life lesson, a blessing, or a spiritual pop quiz.

😬 “At least it’s the good kind of cancer.”
There is no good cancer. Ever.

🙃 “Just stay positive!”
As if optimism is a treatment plan.
Also: people are allowed to be scared, angry, tired.

🧪 “My friend had cancer and they’re totally fine now.”
Every cancer is different. Every body is different.
This comparison helps exactly no one.

🙄 “You don’t look sick.”
Cool. Still sick.

🕊️ “God only gives this to strong people.”
So… what about everyone else?

🤐 “I know exactly how you feel.”
Unless you’ve had cancer, you don’t. And that’s okay, just say you’re here.

The one that hurts the most?
Silence.
People disappearing because they don’t know what to say.

Sometimes children see what we’ve forgotten how to notice ✨
The tiny, ordinary miracles:
a crack of light on the wall,
the sound of rain changing pitch,
a hand that fits perfectly in yours.

In three days, we step into 2026.
A new number. A clean page.
But the same quiet wonders will still be there.

Maybe the real resolution isn’t to run faster or aim higher.
Maybe it’s to slow down just enough to see again.
To enjoy the ordinary.
To live with less stress.
To choose what’s good for us as humans,
not just what we’re supposed to do 🤍

Merry Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to our wonderful community and patients.
Today, our thoughts are with everyone those celebrating with loved ones, those spending today alone, and those who don’t quite feel in the mood to celebrate at all.

We hold in our hearts those carrying grief, exhaustion, uncertainty, or quiet sadness, and anyone simply doing their best to get through the day. Please know that you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.

Christmas can be a day of light, but also one of tenderness and reflection. Wherever you find yourself today, we are holding space for you. We are deeply grateful for your trust and for being part of our journey.

🤍 What You Need to Know 🤍

• It’s okay if the holidays feel different this year. Joy doesn’t have to look the way it used to to still matter.

• Strength isn’t constant positivity. Some days, strength is simply showing up or choosing rest.

• Energy is valuable. Saying no, leaving early, or changing plans is a form of self-respect, not selfishness.

• Emotions don’t need to be fixed or explained. Holding space for them is enough.

• Small moments count. A quiet morning, warm lights, or a familiar song can be more meaningful than big celebrations.

• Comparison steals peace. Every journey through this season is personal and valid.

• Support looks different for everyone. Accept help in the way that feels right or ask for it when needed.

• This season doesn’t require perfection. Presence, gentleness, and honesty are more than enough.

Take what helps. Leave what doesn’t. This season can still be meaningful, even when it looks different 🤍
