Baypoint Sports Club is a family-friendly, premier sports, fitness and leisure destination, set on 17 acres between Ramsgate and Sandwich, Kent. The new smart-card enabled gym looks seaward over Pegwell Bay and our Event facilities pour out onto 17 acres of greenspace with Pegwell Bay Nature reserve our nearest neighbours. We provide a wide range of Sports, Fitness and Wellbeing facilities combined with superb conferencing & bar offerings. State-of-the-art gym; 70 stations; smart-card technology; fantastic view, Spin Studio and full exercise class timetable including old classics and the latest crazes, 2 Squash Courts and much more!

Day 5 focuses on building shoulder strength and stability with options for the gym or at home.

πŸ‹οΈ Gym Option: Shoulder Press
β€’ 3 sets of 12 reps (using dumbbells or a barbell)
β€’ Add lateral or front raises afterwards for extra work
β€’ Keep your core tight and avoid arching your back

🏑 Home Option: Shoulder Workout
β€’ Complete 3 rounds of the following:

10-15 Pike Push-Ups - start in a downward dog position and lower your head towards the floor to target your shoulders

1 minute of Arm Circles - make small controlled circles forwards and backwards

15 Shoulder Taps per side - from a high plank position, tap each shoulder while keeping your hips steady

Day 4 focuses on back and posterior chain strength with options for the gym or at home.

πŸ‹οΈ Gym Option: Rows
β€’ 4 sets of 12-15 reps (seated row or bent-over row)
β€’ Keep your back straight, core engaged, and pull with your elbows
β€’ Move with control and avoid jerking the weight

🏑 Home Option: Bodyweight Back Exercises

3 rounds of:

15 Supermans - lie on your front and lift your arms and legs off the floor, squeezing your back

15 Reverse T Raises - lie on your front, lift your arms out to the sides to form a β€œT” shape. Raise your arms a few inches off the floor, squeezing at the shoulder blades - don’t shrug your shoulders up.

10 Swimmers - lie on your front and alternate lifting opposite arms and legs as if swimming
