When caring for a family member, you very often put your needs last and prioritise the of your loved one. But everyone needs a break, particularly when juggling caring with work, home and family demands!

Full Management is the gold standard of care. It is ideal for those who don’t want to worry about coordinating GP appointments and other everyday tasks and for families juggling many different demands.

The Introductory service is most suited for families who want to be more involved in caring for their loved ones or those who need a live-in carer on a tighter budget.

Congratulations to our carer Maria Votano for winning our Christmas photo competition with these lovely photos of her and her client Sarah. She also sent in this beautiful message:

"What can I say about our December calendar other than it has been fun filled with activities and a lot of festive cheer. From decorating the Christmas tree to Christmas card writing, Christmas farmers market and everything else in between, not forgetting our Christmas wreath that Sarah and I made. Pictures speak louder than words what a jolly time we have been having doing all these wonderful things together. With that being said, Sarah and I would love to wish you and everyone you love a very merry and blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year."

Emma and Karen from the Care Team were delighted to help launch the Warm Spaces event at Aldeburgh Library last Friday. We have provided our local libraries with equipment and supplies to make hot drinks for the Warm spaces they have created this winter, and we hosted a coffee morning to launch the event.

The Aldeburgh Library Manager, Sue Osben, emailed us this morning to say:

"It was great to see some of your team at our very successful Warm Spaces launch event last Friday.It was a lovely, friendly occasion, much enjoyed by all those who attended.

May I also take this opportunity to thank Christies Care for supporting and sponsoring our Warm Space. It is very much appreciated.

Very best wishes, and Happy Christmas, Sue and staff at Aldeburgh Library."

Don't forget that the deadline is tomorrow at 5pm!

Send us your photo’s/videos of your Christmas activities or outings that you are enjoying together so we can spread some Christmas cheer!

Send to wellbeing@christiescare.com. The winning client/carer will each receive a £5 Costa voucher and the 2nd prize client/carer will each receive some chocolates, which will be posted out on Monday 19th December.

This recent feedback from the family of a new client about our live-in carer Janine was recently logged by a member of our New Client Team:

"Called [daughter] to check in and see how things have been. She advised it has been absolutely brilliant, Christies are so professional, and she is so thankful we have been there to help and make things easy for them.

"She said that their first carer Janine has been a god-send. She has set the bar so high, and if Janine represents our company, then we have most definitely got everything right.

"[The client] has really enjoyed the company of a live-in carer. Despite being resistant to live-in care at the beginning of the year, she has taken to it like a duck to water and improved so much since Janine has been there."
