Touch is the most fundamental human need, relieving pain, reducing anxiety, regulating the nervous system and promoting soft tissue healing. Previous experience as a physiotherapist in an Acute Care Hospital and latter years working in a neurological rehabilitation unit for spinal cord injuries and head injuries was a very hands on experience dealing with mental, physical and emotional pain, trauma and anxiety. Since taking a break from physiotherapy I found myself drawn back to what drives my fundamental being: the hands on of helping people - healing through massage. Utilising my skills and experience including training and courses in massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, Indian head massage and Reiki, I aim to continue to help people limited physically and mentally by pain and injury to reach their full potential. I provide treatment in your own home, it gives the comfort and convenience to fit in with your needs. All you need is little bit of room for a portable table, or space for a chair for seated head neck and shoulder massage, and a large towel or cosy blanket.
