A huge thank you to Hays Travel Scarborough and everyone who joined their wonderful Christmas Charity Coach Trip to the York Christmas Market on 7th December in support of Saint Catherine’s.

An incredible £1,166.30 was raised to help support patient care across our hospice and community services. Thank you to the Hays Travel team, the businesses who donated raffle prizes, and everyone who hopped on the coach and got involved, your kindness truly means the world to us. 💛

As 2025 draws to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every member of our Saint Catherine’s family - our staff, volunteers, supporters, fundraisers, partners and community 💛

This year has been truly special as we marked 40 years of care, compassion and dignity. Together, you’ve helped us continue to provide expert palliative and end-of-life care, emotional and bereavement support, and comfort to patients and families when they need it most, at the hospice, at home and across our community.

From generous donations and incredible fundraising efforts, to quiet acts of kindness and tireless dedication behind the scenes, your support has made a real difference.

As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with hope, pride and gratitude knowing our community continues to care, together. 💛

Looking for a bold way to start 2026? Why not take the plunge in the Scarborough Lions Club New Year’s Day Dip and raise vital funds for patient care at Saint Catherine’s Hospice 💛

🏃‍♂️ A Huge Thank You, James! 🏃‍♂️

We’d like to say a massive thank you to James Barber for going the distance for Saint Catherine’s 💙

Through an incredible series of running challenges; the East Yorkshire Half Marathon, the 4 x 4 x 48 challenge (4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours) and the Yorkshire Marathon, James has raised an amazing £1,571.81 plus Gift Aid for our hospice.

His determination, commitment and endurance are truly inspiring, and every mile he ran will help us continue caring for patients and their families when they need us most.

Thank you, James, and thank you to everyone who supported him along the way. You’ve helped make a real difference 💙
