This Saturday, 7th March, Josh Wilson, a student at York College, will take on an incredible 40-mile walk from Scarborough to York Minster to raise funds for Saint Catherine’s.

Josh is taking on this challenge because our hospice cared for members of his family and now he wants to give something back 💛

If you can, please consider supporting Josh or sharing his story. Every step he takes helps us continue providing compassionate care across our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Wendy Craig-Tyler, who very generously donated £525 following a special luncheon she hosted at her home just before Christmas.

The afternoon was filled with delicious food, creativity and great company. Guests enjoyed a gift-wrapping demonstration from Marsha Burnett, alongside a live cooking experience in Wendy’s kitchen led by chef Simon Brader. Kindly supported by Glaves, who supplied the pork loin, Simon prepared a beautiful two-course meal while sharing stories and answering questions from the group.

We’re so grateful to Wendy and her supper club for their creativity and generosity. It’s wonderful to see such enthusiasm for events like this, and we look forward to welcoming the group to Flavours for their private dining evening in April.

Thank you for supporting local hospice care. 💛

✨ IMPORTANT NOTICE ✨

For those of you wondering what to expect from 'THE LADIES REAL MONTY SHOW' — here’s a little insight… and the story behind why we do it 💗

In 2017, on the 20th anniversary of the iconic film The Full Monty, Ashley Banjo choreographed and mentored the very first televised “Real Full Monty” show on ITV. The aim was to raise awareness — and funds — in the fight against cancer. Featuring both male and female celebrities, and supported over the years by wonderful names such as Coleen Nolan, the show continued annually until 2023.

Although the original concept focused more on awareness and encouragement than direct fundraising, it went on to raise significant support and, more importantly, powerful awareness.

Since 2018, three “Real Monty” shows have been performed at Cayton Bay Holiday Park Park — and this year, on 27th November, will be the very first one run and performed by the Cayton Ladies in Pink 💕

Some of us — alongside many others — performed in the last Monty back in 2022 in front of an incredible 800-strong crowd! It was one of the most memorable, liberating and emotional nights we’ve ever experienced.
Those of you who attended already know how fabulous and important these shows are… but for those who don’t, here’s what to expect 👇

First things first… let’s clear something up 🙈
This is a “Half Monty” — not a Full Monty!”
There is no “full” in this show as it’s an all-female cast — and everything is done tastefully, respectfully and with purpose.

The evening begins at 7pm. Grab your drinks, settle into your seats and get ready for an amazing night of entertainment featuring:
🎤 Singers
💃 Dancers
✨ Special performances
💗 A couple of numbers from ourselves
All building up to the grand finale — The Ladies Real Monty.

The finale is tasteful, emotional and incredibly uplifting — for both the audience and the performers. It’s about strength, solidarity, awareness and empowerment. This night is about getting an important message out there while creating something truly unforgettable.

💖 Three wonderful charities will benefit from the evening:
• Saint Catherine's Scarborough — who will also be giving a very special performance on the night (trust us… this will be awesome!)
• Breast Cancer Now
• Yorkshire Cancer Research

The Cayton Bay Holiday Park complex is now open until January, so the bar will be fully stocked and staffed 🍷 There will also be an opportunity to pre-order wines and prosecco nearer the time.

🎟 Tickets are £15 and include a raffle entry.
To secure yours:
📧 Email Ladiesinpink23@gmail.com
OR
💗 Contact a Lady in Pink that you know

⚠️ PLEASE BEWARE OF SCAMMERS
If you see anyone commenting with tickets for sale — they are NOT legitimate. The only way to purchase tickets is directly through us. If you’re unsure, message or email us before sending any money.

Now you know what it’s all about…

We can’t wait to share this empowering, emotional and unforgettable night with you 💕
Hope to see you there! 💗✨
