When we take good care of ourselves, we see it start to spill out into the world around us. We talk about this all the time at The Frog Project. We can put so much pressure on ourselves - to do more, to push harder. But what if we could do more with less? What if we could be soft? Softness is the absence of rigidity. And when we turn the dial to softer, the hard things become so much easier. It starts with a big breath in and a long breath out ๐Ÿฆ‹

Spicy November: Fold, hold, and release ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ

As we settle into autumn, nature shows us the beauty of letting go. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, autumn is governed by the metal element and connected to the lungs and large intestine - both organs of release. Forward bends gently massage these areas, supporting their natural function. This is the season of vairagya, the yogic principle of non-attachment. Just as the trees trust the process of shedding their leaves, we too can practice surrendering into the fold - releasing what no longer serves us and creating space for transformation.
