Back in January, we asked what you wanted from TFP.

And this is what we got:
89% of you prioritise joint mobility
79% want stress relief
71% want to build strength
More than half of you struggle with brain fog and mental clarity

So we listened and designed 4 brand new classes around your answers!

They’re all 30 minutes, they’re all open to everyone, and they’re running alongside your usual classes - so nothing you love is going anywhere.

This is a trial. We want to know what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d change. Show up, try something new, and tell us what you think. Your feedback will shape what stays on the timetable 💛

These new classes, marked as ‘Specials’, are running between March 2–13.

Please come to as many as you like! They’re all free and open to everybody. We’re very excited to see which ones you like the most and which we’ll keep as regular classes later.

Anxiety is not always a weakness.
As we get older, our hormones change, and sometimes anxiety is simply the body reacting to that.

A longer exhale helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the part of the body that signals safety.
Nothing magical here. Just chemistry.
And yes, ancient yogis knew this long before science explained it.

This is just one breathing technique. There are many more 🌿

In our 30 days of LIVE yoga classes, we learn simple tools every day to navigate daily stress and make life feel a little more pleasant.

If you've been waking up foggy, feeling heavy, unmotivated, or just a bit… flat - you're not lazy. Something real is happening in your body.

As oestrogen declines during perimenopause and menopause, so does our ability to produce dopamine and serotonin - the hormones that make us feel good, motivated, and clear-headed. No wonder it's hard to get going.

In Ayurveda, this heavy, stuck feeling is called tamasic energy. And the trick isn't to push harder - it's to add a little spark (rajas) to shift the energy.

We have a full video on YouTube with 3 very simple and really working things you can do to lift yourself up. Link in BIO.

Every year, I do a little Spring cleaning (and I'm usually really good at throwing stuff out!). However, I cannot seem to part with these two yoga mats. And every year… I postpone the decision 😅

What would you do?

At our last retreat in October, we wrote Letters to Our Future Selves.
Little notes about our hopes, our dreams, and how we’d like to feel three months from now.

In yoga, this is called Sankalpa - a heartfelt intention.
What do we truly want, deep down in our hearts?
Taking time to reflect on it, sit with it, or even write it down helps plant a tiny seed of intention 🌱
And from there, everything we do begins to nourish that seed, allowing it to grow, blossom, and eventually bloom.

Even if you weren’t on retreat, writing a letter (or even an email!) to your future self is a beautiful practice.

We can't wait to see you at our next retreat in March! 💫

Welcome to a brand new month. February always fills us with hope - the hope of brighter mornings, seeing the bulbs start to find their way through the soil, and the snowdrops start to blanket the forest floors.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes at the moment, much like everything going on beneath the soil, as Spring prepares to burst forth. Exciting things are coming in addition to our wonderful weekly classes.

Our special deal – 30 days of live yoga classes is still running. Don’t miss your chance to try the best yoga classes without leaving your home ✨

Can yoga really help with symptoms of the menopause?

We often get this question. Here’s a very honest answer.

Yoga won’t stop or delay the menopause. But it can change how you move through this transitional time, and support you as do.

When hormones feel chaotic, the nervous system often does too. Slow movement and breathing can help your body settle, not perfectly, but enough to exhale again.

Gentle practice helps with stiffness, sleep, mood, that constant background tension many women don’t even realise they’re carrying.

Consistent practice also helps you stay strong. Not gym-strong, but life-strong. Stronger legs, healthier joints, better posture, the kind of strength that helps you feel steady in your body.

But the biggest shift isn’t physical. Yoga takes you to a place where you don’t have to fix yourself. You don’t have to push. You don’t have to be “better”.

You just show up, and that alone can be grounding.

So no, it’s not a miracle cure. But it can make this chapter feel less lonely, and more empowering and liberating.

And that’s a big deal 🦋

Had this little chat with a friend the other day and felt like it could be a good reminder for all of us.
Just remember — you never regret a walk!
