Ok, let’s be very honest.

The fastest way to lower cortisol (aka stress) is to remove the stressor.

But… most of us don’t have life-threatening situations.
The stress is your boss, your kids, grandkids, your to-do list… or your own thoughts.

And we can’t just remove those.
But, we can change how the body responds.

We have very old yoga techniques that still work today - try slow breathing.

It works through the parasympathetic nervous system (your “rest & relax” mode),
so you can feel calmer within 1–5 minutes… and with regular practice, it can help lower cortisol over time.

There are many ways to breathe:

– long exhale breathing
– box breathing
– and more…

In our daily LIVE classes + class library, we explore them together, so you can find what actually works for you.

This yoga practice is designed to get you out of your head and into your body, where the answers often become clearer. Through mindful movement, we create space to explore the bigger questions: Where am I overgiving? Where am I holding back? What would balance actually look like for me?

So we’re adding more evening classes, more 30-min sessions, and courses designed to support your wellbeing in ways that really matter. We've revamped the timetable and new classes start this week - April 1 (not a joke, we promise!).

We don’t practice yoga just for the sake of yoga — we practice it so it can support us in real life, especially when we need it most.

Do you feel fired up or irritable? Like you might snap at the next person who asks you a question?

Anger, rage, frustration- these feelings are real, and they live in your body. Tension builds in the ribs (making it harder to breathe fully) and in the hips (where emotions love to hide).

We have a bit of a saying here at TFP, that our community really is what makes TFP's world go round 🌍 And you know it - without each and every one of you, this magical place wouldn't exist. So, as a little token of our gratitude, we're throwing a party! And by party, I mean a really chill, mostly floor based, practice of rest, reconnection and restoration.

Enter - Circle of Rest. This is a brand new class that is going to run at the transition time of every season. Four times a year, we'll gather to honour the shift - working with the meridians through yin yoga, resting into a deep nidra, and taking time to reflect and reconnect with ourselves and each other.

To celebrate six years of TFP, we're offering the very first “Circle of Rest” completely free to our community. Consider it our birthday gift to you 🎁

30-min Meditate & Breathe Class: Calm your mind, clear the fog.

A practice for your mind as much as your body. After some gentle movement to help you arrive and settle, you’ll be guided through breathwork and meditation - simple, practical techniques for managing stress, finding clarity, and feeling more like yourself.

No chanting, no visualisation - just tools you can use on and off the mat. Perfect for anyone whose mind won’t stop racing, or who wants to explore what yoga offers beyond the postures.
