Our amazing staff at The Holt pulled out all the stops to make Christmas special for the people we care for. The residents had a lovely day, enjoying a cheeky tipple and all the usual Christmas treats!
Our Christmas Day wouldn’t have been complete without a dinner, prepared and cooked by our wonderful chef Becky from locally sourced fresh ingredients.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our year-round suppliers, Stepney Hill Farm for our meats and All Seasons for our fruit and vegetables.
We wish all our friends and families all the very best for the coming year.

Christmas party time at The Holt ❤️- it certainly is ‘the most wonderful time of the year’🎶

This afternoon we had the sensational Tamzin Mystery Bottle Raffle - what’s it going to be? shampoo or champagne? It was an absolute hit as always. An array of prizes were won and fun was had! 🍾

A magical visit from Santa was enjoyed and found out that we’ve made it onto the nice list this year- phew! ❤️

A delighful spread was enjoyed, provided by our lovely cooks Becky and Emma - Thankyou for all your hard work always but especially for providing food and drink for all the guests. ❤️

Entertainment from Martin the Music Man, how we all enjoyed him playing Christmas classics and filling the home with melody’s. It was uplifting and joyous as we sang along and had a dance with friends and family. 🎶

The Holt’s Christmas Creative Crafts continue throughout December 🎄- 

Using a selection of textures, mediums and a sleigh load of sparkle to create art work indivually and collectively, it is great for hand to eye coordination, sensory and creativity ✨✨✨

📅 The Holt 2026 calendar featuring artwork from throughout the year by our talented residents is now on sale for £10. All the proceeds go towards the activity fund for the year ahead. 🎄

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” here at The Holt ✨- 

Tamzin our amazing activities co-ordinator assisted some of our lovely residents to decorate the main tree in the living area where it can be admired and enjoyed by all. ❤️

This afternoon we had a Christmas themed quiz 🎅🏻- The residents always enjoy an afternoon quiz, listening, thinking, discussing all whilst promoting memory recall. 

This evening was warm blankets with cozy vibes as we watched some Christmas movies in the lounge, along with hot drinks and a sweet treat~ it is Christmas after all🍫
