I don’t often post (sorry! I’m not the best at social media 😊) however, it’s World Acupuncture Awareness day so it only feels right to share this from the British Acupuncture Council.
I am proud to be a member and also very proud of the training I have undertaken to make sure I can provide a high standard to all my clients.

Also I’d like to say a massive thank you to all my wonderful clients who everyday make me smile and grateful that this is my work!

The British Acupuncture Council is the 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 UK membership organisation for Acupuncturists that has standards independently checked by the government backed Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This standard guarantees that you will find an acupuncturist who is
a) degree level trained and
b) subject to independently verified standards of good governance

This means that when you choose a BAcC member you know they are independently assessed to be well trained, safe and subject to ongoing professional standards.

Some self care for me today - I went and had some cupping and massage on my sore neck and shoulder.

Feeling loads better and thought I’d share with you an example of what we mean when you hear us saying ‘cupping can leave a mark’ - its not painful but looks it!

This is one of my favourite Chinese proverbs - it's such a simple saying but to me makes total sense. When things are not moving and working as they should be we can get pain.
It's easy to understand from a context of muscles, tissues and blood and also in traditional Chinese Medicine with Qi and meridians.
Acupuncture is a great way to get things moving again - making there be free flow again.

It's been a great start to 2024 - I am really enjoying my work - every day is different and I am getting to meet so many wonderful people. I have now decided to use a booking system going forward - trying to save on admin time so I can fit in more appointments!

You can now use the Book Now button on my page and through my website. From there you can check my availability and book your acupuncture sessions.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the support. It has been the most wonderful year from finishing my degree to getting the clinic built and then open.

Thank you also to all my lovely customers - it’s been so wonderful working with you and I am looking forward to being back at work in the New Year.

Another busy and successful week at the clinic.

Patients are getting great results including: reduced pain, being more energised, sleeping better and feeling motivated/positive about their health goals.
