The University of Southampton and Southampton Clinical Trials Unit are running a study called SleepBuddy. The aim of this study is to see if a new website, Sleep Buddy, can help parents/carers of children aged 6-12 years with a diagnosis of ADHD, to improve their child’s sleep.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women and over 55,000 women are diagnosed each year. Breast cancer screening saves lives, yet not all women who are invited will attend their first breast screening appointment.

NHS England has commissioned a project to better understand women's experiences and to explore how breast screening services could better meet their needs.

If you are aged 47-53, please take just 5 minutes to complete this Breast Screening Survey. This is anonymous and confidential and your responses will help to shape a breast screening service that respects the needs of women from all backgrounds.

The survey runs until mid-February.

Today is 'Parent Mental Health Day'. This day was founded in 2022 and held each year on 30 January. The day helps to raise awareness of the link between parents' and carers' mental health and wellbeing of the family.

Reminder: the prescription post boxes at both sites are for prescriptions only.

We’re seeing an increasing number of samples being posted into the box, and some are unlabelled, which means we cannot identify or contact the patient once they’ve been posted and left the building. Even if they're correctly labelled, they should not be put in the post boxes with the prescriptions due to the risk of contamination.

For everyone’s safety and to ensure your samples are handled correctly, please hand all samples directly to reception.
