Little Sunflowers has been proudly running for 2 years now and now we’re expanding into a nursery! As we grow, we’re looking for passionate, caring, and dedicated early years practitioners to join our close-knit team in January 2026!

At Little Sunflowers, we’re more than just an early years setting - we’re a family. Our team works together to create a warm, loving, and supportive environment where both children and staff can flourish.

👶 Baby Room Practitioner – Full-time

🌻 Little Sunflowers nursery update 🌻

Thank you to everyone who has enquired and added their child’s name to our list! Over the next couple of weeks, we will be emailing out an information pack which will include everything you need to know – such as price lists, opening hours, and other important details.

When you receive your pack, if you would like to secure your child’s space, please respond to the email promptly so we can provide you with details on how to pay a deposit.

✨ Please Note:

- We are working through our waiting list in order.

- Our aim is still to be open for January, however we are unable to open until our OFSTED registration is complete, so dates may be subject to change.

- No space is secured without a deposit!

If you have emailed/messaged and we have not responded please send us another message as our inbox is crazy at the moment so we may have missed some!

We currently have a small number of spaces available in both our 2-Year-Old Room and our Pre-School Room. If you’ve been thinking about joining the Little Sunflowers family, now is the perfect time to reserve your child’s place 🌻

Please note: A space is not fully confirmed until a deposit has been paid. We will be working our way through our waiting list in the next coming months and will be contacting parents/carers in order, giving each family the opportunity to pay their deposit and confirm their child’s place.

📍 Located on Hebden Road, Scunthorpe, Little Sunflowers will care for children aged 0 to 12 years, offering a home-from-home environment where every child is treated like family 💛

At Little Sunflowers, we believe in creating a warm, nurturing space where children feel safe, supported, and free to shine — just like they would at home 🌞

🌻 Here’s what we’ll offer:

👧 2-Year-Old Room
🎨 Pre-School Room
🎒 After-school care from Berkley Primary School
💷 Government funded hours accepted
✨ Tax free childcare

2 years ago, we opened our doors for the very first time. Since then we have grown in many different ways 💛

We have welcomed Liana and Sophie to our team. We smashed our OFSTED inspection. Leah and Hannah have welcomed their beautiful babies into the world and we can’t wait for them to join us in September. 💛

Without the continued support from our parents, staff and our little sunflowers, we wouldn’t be able to do this without you so we thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts. 💛

We are so so proud of our team and our children and we can’t wait to see our setting grow even more in the future…🔑

During the month of April we have had lots of fun 💛

We had healthy eating week, Easter, earth week and space week 🍏🐣🌎🪐
