Our Brand New Special and Unique Mindfulness Centre is located at 6 Collum Lane,Ashby,DN16 2TA.
We offer Private Counselling , Hypnotherapy, EFT , Reki , Crystal Healing , Trauma Therapy and so much more .
We also offer clinical supervision and training courses for professionals and trainee counsellors and anyone wishing to either expand their knowledge in mental health or change career.

After a crazy busy 7 months of setting up and opening up our new buisness and sadly family members being seriously unwell and in and out of hospital. We managed to get away for 3 weeks to recharging our batteries . It was so hard to switch off for the first couple of days but then we had such a lovely time with our English friends who were also in turkey and our Turkish friends , who are like family to us 🥰 we are so blessed , thankyou all 🥰
I’m missing the sunshine already , it’s just so therapeutic and makes you feel so much better 🌞 The beach , the ocean , the sound of the waves are my absolute favourite sights and sounds 💯
I love reading and the therapist in me loves to be learning and reading anything brain and mental health related , however I also love a good story too and this year there wasn’t a work book in sight . Here’s my reading list from the last 3 weeks and I would highly recommend any of these books 📚

Self care = escaping in a good book 📖

I will be catching up with messages and emails for the rest of the day , so if I haven’t already replied I apologise but Iam getting through them all and will be in touch very soon .

Our gorgeous little people , visiting the centre today 😊
Biggest little person refers to mental health as “head feelings” and littlest little person refers to Therapy with clients as “therapising people”. They never fail to make us smile and at least these little conversations about mental health are a step in the right direction for the younger generation. 💕

We offer child therapy at our centre in a safe and nurturing environment. Our centre is not clinical or office like , we are extremely passionate about helping children feel safe , important , heard and understood . Children really are the future and the world can be tough and challenging for them at times and here at Special and Unique Mindfulness Centre we understand that .
There is no shame in your child needing a little help with their emotional well-being . I certainly wish my parents had been able to access and offer myself some help and guidance when I was younger .

This course is for both clients and professionals who work with anxiety , cpd certification is included And as always some relaxing healing to end the day or evening 😊

Hello everyone. My name is Emma and I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor. I am fully insured, hold a enhanced DBS, and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My counselling journey began after I discovered my unwanted behaviours were present due to the beliefs I held about myself. This is when I started my own healing journey with a focus on self esteem and became passionate about supporting others.

I am a warm, compassionate and caring individual but my favourite quality is my honesty and strong moral principles.

My role within your counselling journey is to explore your feelings, and help you understand your behaviours and thinking processes whilst exploring the past, present and future self. I am here to be non-judgemental whilst encouraging exploration to support you through any difficulties you may be faced with.

I work with both adults and young people and have experience with complex learning and physical disabilities. I also have experience working within schools and currently studying MA criminology, this is to be able to further my knowledge to support those within the criminal justice system.
