We're delighted to announce that we raised £225 for Newhaven RNLI yesterday, a charity we are so proud to support!

Founded in 1803, Newhaven Lifeboat Station serves the coastline from Beachy Head to Brighton. It is a modern afloat station, operating an all-weather Severn-class lifeboat, and its crews have been honored with 19 medals for gallantry.

From creative Halloween crafting to delicious sweet treats, there’s been plenty of laughter, colour, and community spirit filling the home this week 🧡🕸️

Outings like these mean so much, offering our residents the chance to stay connected with the local community and make special memories beyond our doors ❤️

A Huge Thank You to The Sunshine Strummers! ☀️

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming The Sunshine Strummers from Seaford to Threeways Nursing Home this week! Their uplifting ukulele tunes had everyone smiling and singing along ❤️

They are raising money for a fantastic local charity, Children With Cancer Fund free entertainment across the community all year round, supported by kind donations. Thank you for bringing so much joy to our residents! 🎵

This week, we gathered with cake and bubbly to celebrate an incredible milestone - 55 years of Threeways Nursing Home in Seaford! 🥂🎂

Caroline Mills, Proprietor, shared:

“My family has been part of Threeways for 55 years, with myself being involved for 30 years. I am so proud that we are still a family-run home. Threeways would not be the home that it is without the dedication and loyalty of our amazing staff - who are like one big family - together with the support of our wonderful residents and their families. We have always ensured that Threeways has remained homely, remembering that we work in our residents’ home, rather than they live in ours.”

Laura Evans, Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator, added:

“Threeways holds a very special place in my heart. Over the years I have worked here, I have been fortunate to meet some of the kindest people - people with immense compassion who take great pride in what they do. This spirit has shaped Threeways in so many ways. We are more than a care home; we are a family and a community, offering comfort and support to all who come through our doors. Our residents have shared their memories with us and entrusted us with their lives, and I am truly proud to be part of this home.”
