I have started with 2 new clients this week and they have both reported sleeping better already. A
Sleep is commonly the first improvement my clients see when they start their therapeutic journey with me, which for most people is something they have suffered with for such a long time. Anxiety and struggling mental health can hugely affect sleep.
Why is sleep so important?
🦋 sleep has a direct impact on our mood
🦋 increases our energy levels
🦋 benefits on our memory are unimaginable
🦋 REM sleep fuels our creativity
🦋 improves our physical health
🦋 resets our brain and body
🦋 reduces stress levels and anxiety
🦋 boosts our immune system
🦋 lowers food cravings
How can you get a better nights sleep?
🦋 go to bed and wake up at the same time everyday
🦋 avoid alcohol before bed
🦋 listen to music or read a book before going to sleep
🦋 keep your bedroom dark and cool
🦋 avoid blue light
🦋 have a hot bath as part of your bedtime routine
🦋 get as much natural daylight during the day as possible
🦋 avoid caffeine and ni****ne before bed
🦋 don’t exercise too late in the day
“Sleep is the most effective thing we can do to reset our brain and body health every day” ~ Matthew Walker
