I would like to take a moment to thank you all so much for your continued support. It can be a challenge running your own business, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love it and have certainly found my calling in life, but your support is amazing.

Thank you to my past, present and future clients for choosing me to be a part of your journey, it really does mean so much.

Thank you to those who have referred me to others. I can talk for hours about how incredible what I do is, however people will always trust those they know, so this truly means a lot.

Thank you for liking and sharing my posts. I try to make what I share valuable and informative. I appreciate not everyone wants or needs my services, sometimes people need a tip or to be shown how to do something, so likes and shares help me to reach further.

Lastly, I would like to wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year ✨

I am not one for making New Year resolutions, so I have chosen a word that I want to embrace more next year and that’s, Kindness (towards myself).

I am all finished for 2025.

I am taking some time with my family now making festive memories, so I will be on here a little less over the next week or so.

I absolutely love this poem by the very talented .poetry it beautifully describes what Christmas really is all about.

I am a true believer in the magic of Christmas rather than the piles of gifts under the tree.

Christmas to me is family, simple traditions, sparkling lights, remembering loved ones, the smells of festive food, laughter, the looks on peoples faces as they open your gift, watching my son get swept away with the mystery of Christmas and making memories.

This is what one of my client told me last week after just one session, how amazing is that?

I know how incredible Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is, so when my clients see it for themselves it is a great feeling.

Many of my clients notice an improvement in their sleep relatively quickly. Sleep is one of the most important factors in our life. It is the most effective thing we do that resets our body and our brain, it should be an absolute non-negotiable and it’s free.

How much better is your day when you’ve had a really good nights sleep?

One of my top tips is to put screens away for at least one hour before bed. It will help to reduce mental stimulation and you will find that you fall asleep more naturally and peacefully.

🦋 A n x i e t y I n D e c e m b e r 🦋

Just because it is December, it doesn’t mean that peoples anxiety improves. In fact, for many people it actually adds a whole new layer of overwhelm and stress into the mix by the added pressures of what December and Christmas bring.

If you can relate to this post, however, you are not quite ready to reach out and seek help, make sure you plan some time in your day for you, doing something you enjoy. This could be getting some quiet time reading a book, it could be getting some exercise or anything inbetween. Making time for yourself is the priority, time to relax, refocus and recharge.

🎄 C h r i s t m a s O v e r w h e l m 🎄

It is easy to get overwhelmed with Christmas approaching, adding more and more to your already extensive to-do list. So many people feel the added pressure that this time of year can bring.

Firstly, remember there is no ‘perfect’ picture of Christmas so just try and focus on you and what works for you and your family.

Over the next couple of weeks, take some time out for you, even 10/15 minutes here and there can help.

Here are a few ideas you can try ~

🎄 Get a couple of early nights in. Aim for 8 hours of sleep if you can, you will reap the benefits.

🎄 Have you got a book you’ve been meaning to read, now is the time to lose yourself in it. Reading gives us focused attention where our brain can’t focus on anything else apart from the task in hand.

🎄 Phone a friend for a chat. A lovely positive interaction will get your body producing those feel good neurotransmitters and help you to feel good.

🎄 Enjoy a hot drink. A nice cup of tea or coffee, hot chocolate or herbal tea and sit quietly whilst you drink it. If you have children at home, take yourself off to quiet corner of the house.

🎄 Get outside. We love to take a walk of an evening looking at all the Christmas lights. Do what you enjoy. Walking the dog. Going for a run/walk/bike ride. Walk with friends. Just getting outside in the fresh air has a positive impact on you and your well-being.

You may have other things you enjoy doing that help to you to relax and unwind, it’s all about taking some much needed time for you so you look after yourself.

Remember, to give the best of yourself to you and others, you must be at your best 🎄

I thrive on routine and find it helps me to feel calmer and more in control. Wednesday is Sauna and Sea Dip day, every week, without fail and it’s non-negotiable.

Why does routine matter and why we are wired for It.

As humans, we’re creatures of habit. Our brains love patterns, predictability, and rhythm. When we have a routine, the brain feels safe and when the brain feels safe, it can switch off the “threat response” and move into a calmer, more solution-focused state.

A consistent routine also reduces the number of decisions you have to make each day. This frees up mental energy, lowers stress, and creates more space for clarity and creativity. It’s one of the reasons we feel more balanced and grounded when our days have structure.

In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, we often look at the small daily habits that support wellbeing. These tiny, consistent actions send a powerful message to the brain: I am in control. I’m moving forward. I’m safe.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or tired, starting with just one small, repeatable habit can make a huge difference. Over time, these routines become anchors, steady points in your day that help your mind settle and your confidence grow.

Routine doesn’t have to be rigid. It simply needs to support you.
