❤️As well as being our funeral director, in his spare time Rob is part of the Royal British legion Seaford branch, his community task today was to clean the plaques at our memorial of which he takes great pride in. Lest we forget.

*Major Cuthbert Bromley*
(19 September 1878 – 13 August 1915) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
He was awarded the VC for his actions on 25th April 1915, during the landings at W Beach, Gallipoli, Turkey, and during which he was wounded three times.
*MRN Gareth Wheddon*
(3 February 1959 - 12 November 1978)
Gareth was a 19 year old Royal Marine, 42 commando who was injured by an IRA bomb near Crossmaglen, Co.Armagh, Northern Ireland on the 9th November and died of his wounds 3 days later at Musgrave Park Hospital, Belfast.
