💡Patellar Tendinopathy💡

A huge problem I see when patients are stuck and unable to progress with their rehab is due to load management. Every patient is different but it is important to de-load the tendon correctly but this doesn’t mean to JUST REST. ❌

Luckily I first assessed this patient during a winter break for Christmas so we had some time to work and de-load from running and jumping. We then progressively loaded the tendon before phasing back progressive plyometric work in their return to sport phase. 💪🏻🏃🏻‍♀️

Moving into a new clinic to help improve facilities for injury treatment and rehab. I’ve also completed my first year of my MSc Physiotherapy and recently moved into my own house — a big year of growth.
