This is your reminder to know the symptoms of bowel cancer.

The earlier it’s found, the more treatable it’s likely to be.

Symptoms of bowel cancer include:

- bleeding from your bottom

- blood in your poo

- a change in your pooing habits. You might be going more or less often, or have diarrhoea or constipation that might come and go

- losing weight but you’re not sure why

- feeling very tired all the time but you’re not sure why

- a pain or lump in your tummy

Having these symptoms doesn’t always mean you have bowel cancer but it’s still important to find out what’s causing them. Sometimes these symptoms may come and go or might not feel that serious. It’s still important to talk to your GP.

Know your units, know your limits.

There isn’t a completely safe amount of alcohol you can drink, but you are at lower risk of harm if you drink 14 units or less a week.

Tracking your units helps you stay in control.

Are you looking after a family member, friend, or neighbour who couldn’t manage without your help? 💙

If so, you may be an unpaid carer — and your GP practice wants to support you.

Letting your GP know you are a carer can help you access:
✔️ Health checks and support for your own wellbeing
✔️ Flexible appointments where possible
✔️ Information about local services and support groups

Caring for someone else can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging. You deserve support too.

📞 Please contact your GP practice today and ask to be recorded as a carer.

Your health matters just as much.

There's always a chair for you at Andys Man Club

Sit with a cracking set of blokes for a cuppa n a bit craic about whatever's going on.
Verbalising what's going on in your head, well there's a lot to be said about it, 😉
