Today we join practitioners and animal lovers around the world in honouring World Animal Reiki Day. This special day is dedicated to raising awareness of the gentle, supportive nature of Reiki for animals and recognising animals as powerful spiritual teachers in our lives.

From beloved pets to animals in shelters, sanctuaries and the wild, Reiki offers a calm, respectful way to support wellbeing, connection and trust. On this day, we celebrate all those who share Reiki with animals - and the wisdom, presence and unconditional love animals share with us in return.

In a couple of weeks time I’m training a lovely lady in Reiki 2 Okuden which will give her practitioner status so she can add this to her business. We had the pleasure of meeting on our reflexology course back in 2020. I offer training on a 1-2-1 basis therefore always getting my full attention 💜🧘‍♀️

I’ve recently had some new followers so I’d like to introduce myself:-

My name is Sharon and I’ve previously worked as a nurse for over 20yrs (I also completed my training as a midwife but never practised). I became interested in Reflexology during my midwifery training in Gateshead where the Midwives were using it on women in pregnancy/labour and this was back in 2007.

I’ve been running my complementary therapy business since 2021 first starting out at home, then Seaton Delaval and I’m currently based in Stanley Street, Blyth.
I can help people with all sorts of issues whether it be mental or physical health.

Reiki is really good at calming the mind and giving you clarity in your life which in turn can help any physical symptoms you might be experiencing.
Reflexology is a lovely relaxing therapy which again can alleviate those stress and tension issues which then cause your body ill-health.

I charge £35 for Reiki and £40 (£45 first session) for reflexology.
Invest in your health and have some quality time in a lovely relaxed space and it’s also a great place to off-load to a great listener 💜 🙏

Within the Reiki community, connection is at the heart of what we do - holding space, offering compassion, and supporting one another with care and respect. Today is a lovely reminder to share that warmth in whatever way feels right for you.
