This week's video is exploring the space in a life transition that noone really prepares you for - the in-between. The liminal space. The old has gone, but the new is yet to emerge. There can be some great gifts here, but it can also be a really confusing, uncomfortable place to be.

There's a stage in every life transition that nobody really prepares you for — the space between. Your old life, your old identity, has fallen away. But the ...

Gotta love Spring. One day everything surges forward, the next it's cold and grey and everything seems to pull back. It's not failure. It's not regression. It's just the rhythm of the season.

If you're in the middle of rebuilding your life right now, you'll probably recognise that feeling exactly...two steps forward, one step back, clarity one day and confusion the next. Oh yes.

Spring doesn't arrive all at once — and if you're in the middle of rebuilding your life right now, you'll probably recognise that feeling exactly. In this sho...

The Wild Rose Spiral is a framework I've been working with for a while now - a kind of map of orientation for moving through a life transition. It helps me figure out where I'm at, so I know whether to give myself more time, more care, or more space for creativity.

I've finally written it all out properly on the blog - all six stages, and what each one actually asks of you. Let me know if it resonates with you...

Life transitions aren't linear — they move in a spiral. Explore the six stages of the Wild Rose Spiral framework and find out where you are in your own transition.

If you've ever felt like you were doing life transitions wrong — going backwards, losing clarity you thought you'd found, falling apart when you thought you were finally getting somewhere — this one's for you.

I've just shared a new video with an overview of the Wild Rose Spiral: why change doesn't move in a straight line, and why the messy middle is actually part of the process.

Most of us were taught that change moves in a straight line — the old ends, we move through it, and we arrive somewhere new. But real life transitions almost...

There’s a moment in life when the things that once fit you… suddenly don’t anymore.

Maybe it’s your work, a role you’ve been playing, or even a sense of who you thought you were. Nothing may look wrong from the outside — but inside something has shifted.

In this new video I talk about the signs you might be outgrowing a stage of your life, and why this confusing place is actually a normal part of change.

Many of the women in my maternal line wove cotton in Preston's mills. They set aside their dreams because the times they lived in didn't offer much of a choice.

I've been thinking about what it means to pick up the threads they had to put down.

New piece on the blog this week...

Sometimes you don't need answers or advice. You just need a place to pause and be met.
Wild Rose Circles are a small, guided space for women to sit together, share or listen, and be witnessed without judgement or fixing.
Many women leave feeling steadier, and less alone with what they're carrying.
Next circle is this Sunday 15th March, 10.30–12.00 in Sedbergh. Booking closes Saturday morning.

For a long time, I’ve felt most at home in the path of grief and transition.

It shaped me. It gave me depth.

But living there constantly has started to feel exhausting.

Lately I’m choosing to consciously shift attention toward devotion — to land, to plants, to small steady practices.

Not as denial.

As balance.

Where is your attention resting these days?

Spring circles this season unfold as a connected series rather than isolated gatherings.

Each month holds a theme that deepens the last:

March – Tending What Tends Us
April – Rooted & Held
May – The Devotional Thread

You are welcome to attend one session — or step into the unfolding series.

These gatherings explore plant presence, land connection, devotion, beauty, and belonging through shared reflection and gentle ritual.

Next circle: Sunday March 15th 10.30 - 12.00pm, Sedbergh Tourist Information Centre (1st floor)

If you'd like to join us, you can book here or via the website: https://www.trybooking.com/uk/FXNN

Mugwort. I'm sitting with this plant for the next few months, getting to know it slowly. It's best known for invoking lucid dreaming, but I'm already learning much more than that from this plant;
- Resilience.
- Mindfulness and awareness around shiny object syndrome - things that seem like the ideal solution or answer, which turn out to simply leave a bit of a bitter taste.
- Things that I no longer want to be a part of - particularly on the level of where I'm putting my attention right now.

As grief, anger and instability continue to surface around us, I refuse to pretend small acts don’t matter.
They do.

Brew the tea you have.
Sit with it.
Let your body come back to itself for a few minutes.

I’ve been sitting in my own liminal space recently.

Wanting to move forward. To build. To get momentum for the year — and at the same time feeling pulled back into stillness.

What I’ve noticed is how quickly I reach for my rational mind to solve it. To think my way into clarity. To force a decision.

And every time I lead from that place alone, I get false starts. Circling. Uncertainty about what to commit to and when. Everything feels suspended.

When I drop out of that head-spin and come back into my body, something different happens.

There’s a quieter intelligence there. It doesn’t rush. It doesn’t demand immediate answers. But it knows when something is aligned — and when it isn’t.

The hardest part is staying in that space.

Especially when society tells us we should already have direction. When discomfort gets pathologised. When uncertainty gets turned into something to fix.

There’s also a subtle pressure to spiritually bypass it — to label the unknown as “divine timing” without actually feeling it.

But the power is often in staying with the not-knowing.

We’ve been conditioned to believe that ambiguity means failure.
Yet that space is often where the next layer of clarity is forming.

And almost paradoxically — when we allow the darkness to move through us instead of resisting it — signals begin to emerge.

That’s what I’m working with in tomorrow’s free workshop: Finding your Footing After a Life Transition. We’ll explore how to recognise where you are, why this phase feels destabilising, and how to orient yourself again from a grounded place.

If you feel in-between, recalibrating, or quietly shedding something old — you’re welcome.

Tomorrow at 1pm UK time.

You don’t need your whole life figured out.

If you’re in the in-between after a life shift — not in crisis, but not clear either — what you might actually need isn’t answers.

It’s orientation.

In next week’s live workshop, we’ll explore the spiral framework of transition so you can understand where you are — and why it feels the way it does.

Not to rush you forward.
Not to push clarity.
But to help you feel steadier in your own timing.

Most women leave calmer than they arrived.

If you’re ready for that kind of support, you can register your spot on the free workshop here: https://wildrosepath.co.uk/signature-workshop/
