Do you ever wonder why your heel pain keeps coming back, even when it feels like it's getting better?
One common reason is stopping treatment too soon.
✅ Relief can sometimes come before the tissue is fully healed, leaving the fascia vulnerable.
Another factor is returning to unsupportive footwear, which can reintroduce strain on your feet.
To manage the pain, try using a massage ball or a frozen bottle under your foot—simple tools can make a real difference.
✅ Wearing cushioned trainers indoors can provide the extra support your feet need.
Remember, small changes in your daily routine can lead to significant improvements in your recovery.
Explore more insights and tips in our practical guide on plantar fasciitis management.

Selby Osteopaths and Wellness Clinic

Selby Osteopaths is one of the areas leading complementary health care clinics and is run by Alan Reed who also runs a successful practice in Leeds. The practice has been offering Osteopathic health care to Selby and the surrounding area for over 30 years. During this time the clinic has expanded to such an extent that our current premises became too small to accommodate the demand for Osteopathy in the area. Due to this, we had to relocate in December 2012 to a larger building on Gowthorpe, the clinic is now known as Selby Wellness Clinic. The move to our new bright and spacious premises provided extra treatment space and facilities to offer back rehabilitation classes, Modern Pilates Courses and Yoga in the Studio. The 3 Osteopaths currently working at the clinic were joined by a team of local health care practitioners allowing the clinic to provide additional therapies including Counselling, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and Hypnotherapy creating a large multidisciplinary practice. The advantages of creating a large multidisciplinary clinic are that practitioners can find the most appropriate solution to patients problems via the disciplines on offer at the clinic or if needed through the trusted network of clinicians we work within the surrounding area, this includes local GP’s, Orthopedic consultants and other like-minded complementary health care practitioners. For more information on how we may be able to help you please feel free to contact us on 01757 704152 or send a message either via Facebook or our website www.selbyosteopaths.co.uk
