🎙️ On air today at 11.10am - listen in to hear me on BBC Radio York talking about women’s mental health in midlife and why it’s time for No More Stiff Upper Lip.

So many women are carrying a lot, quietly - this conversation is about changing that, normalising support, and reminding people they don’t have to do it alone.

Tune in, turn up the volume, and let’s keep the conversation going! .official

❤️ Hello February ❤️ A little reminder this month of all things love - it truly is the smallest things that matter the most in love.✨Showing up, a thoughtful text, a cup of tea or a hug or kiss goodbye - that’s the culture of your relationships day in day out. The grand gestures are grand,of course. But don’t forget the everyday 💗

A gentle reminder, inspired by the book “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff” by Richard Carlson ✨

This was the very first self-help book I ever read as a teenager, and it literally reshaped the way I see life and is a consistent anchor in hard times. ⚓️

The philosophy is simple but powerful: most of what we stress about doesn’t actually matter in the long run. When we learn to let go of life’s irritations, soften our grip on being “right” or trying to control things we have no power over - we choose peace over pressure, and life becomes lighter.

Try to hold life’s troubles lightly.
In the end… it’s all small stuff. 🤍

🚫 Don’t let your relationship do Dry January this year. 🥂

Not arguing doesn’t always mean things are fine.
Sometimes it means connection has quietly dried up.

The good news? Connection can be rebuilt. 💫

Thinking of couples therapy? Remember, you don’t need a crisis to invest in your relationship.🤍

✨ Teen life is loud - inside and out.
Therapy gives young people space to slow it down, make sense of emotions, and feel supported without judgement.

Friendships, sexuality, relationships, gender, neurodiversity, school pressure, home life - we can talk about it all.

Teens: you don’t need to be “bad enough” to get help.

Parents: early support can make all the difference and build skills that last.

Before you try to fix your relationship this year, try listening to it.

This January Relationship Reset is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and talk about the things that often get left unsaid - kindly, not defensively.

Connection grows where safety lives. 💛

January Relationship Reset → save for later. 💾

Christmas has a funny way of turning the volume up on everything… stress, tiredness, unspoken stuff, old patterns. ❄️

If you’ve noticed a bit more distance, snappiness, or “I’m fine” energy creeping in, you’re not alone. It doesn’t mean your relationship is broken. Sometimes it just means things need a little warmth, honesty, and support.

If you’re ready to do things differently, couples therapy is available from January. No blame. No picking sides. Just space to understand each other better. 🤍
