At Bodyworks I facilitate healing with alternative therapies that provide relief, while offering necessary postural and lifestyle suggestions that may improve the benefits of massage treatment, allowing clients to embrace a healthy life. I hope to create an environment that is holistic in its nature, encompassing intelligence, warmth and practicality.

🌿 Looking For A Pilates Teacher To Join The Studio 🌿
Hello everyone! I’m looking for a lovely Pilates teacher to join Bodyworks Pilates Studio
(located at Brackenholme Business Park near Selby, North Yorks)

I’m ideally looking for someone who:
• Has at least 3 years of teaching experience
• Is Level 3 trained in Mat Pilates
• Feels confident leading group classes
• Brings a calm, supportive and encouraging energy

Do you ever feel you have to be fit to go to the gym, take a class, go running? When actually, you do precisely those things to get fit.

I love working with weights, but never feel comfortable in a gym. I like classes but feel awkward in a big class. What if I don’t have enough stamina for the class? What if everyone is totally toned and fit already – I won’t fit in.

This is why I don’t go to a gym.

When I started teaching Pilates, I realised that Pilates is for Everyone! We can all benefit from the exercises.

The people in my classes are not gym-tastic, with perfect bodies and bulging muscles. They come because they want more flexibility, more toning or have back pain. Every Body is different with unique abilities and things to work on.

I love teaching my classes filled with hard working, regular people. They are trying to get out of p.ain, improve themselves and be a bit fitter.

So if you’ve always wanted to try out Pilates but are nervous about who will be in class, come along and give it a go. No superstars, just super nice people all working towards the same things you are.

Pilates for real people. That’s us.

I get excited about trying something new whether it’s an exercise class, a gym session or working with a personal trainer. I get pumped up to go but then when the time comes for action, I start to worry.

What will it be like? How many people will be there? Will the other people be super fit, super lean, super strong?

These are not ‘my’ people. I need normal people – with issues similar to mine – wanting to exercise in a worry-free, ‘gym-tastic’ free environment.

Exercise shouldn’t be scary! It should be fun, challenging and rewarding.

The people in my classes are not gym-tastic, with perfect bodies and bulging muscles. They come because they want more flexibility, more toning or have back pain. Every Body is different with unique abilities and things to work on.
