๐ŸŒŸ Meet the Team Tuesday! ๐ŸŒŸ

This week weโ€™re shining the spotlight on Nurse Natalie ๐Ÿ‘‹

Natalie qualified from the University of Leeds with a BSc in Adult Nursing and brings a wealth of experience to our team. She has a strong background in District Nursing, including work in palliative care and specialist wound care.

Since moving into primary care a few years ago, Natalie has developed a special interest in respiratory management, supporting patients with conditions such as Asthma, COPD and ILD. Alongside this, she is highly skilled in specialist wound care, child and adult vaccinations, and the management of long-term conditions including hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Outside of work, Natalie is a busy mum to two children and enjoys dance classes and socialising with friends and family ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ฌ

๐ŸŽ—๏ธ World Cancer Day โ€” 4th February ๐ŸŽ—๏ธ

Today is World Cancer Day, a moment to unite in the fight against cancer, support those affected, and raise awareness about prevention, early detection, and treatment.

Cancer touches so many lives โ€” whether personally, through family, or within our community. Taking steps like attending screenings, knowing your body, and talking to a GP about any concerns can make a real difference.

โค๏ธ February is Heart Month โค๏ธ

This Heart Month, weโ€™re shining a light on looking after your heart โ€” one of the hardest-working muscles in your body.

Small changes can make a big difference, like staying active, eating well, managing stress, and keeping on top of your health checks. If you have risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or a family history of heart disease, regular check-ups are especially important.

For tips, information, and ways to get involved, visit the British Heart Foundationโ€™s Heart Month page:
