Opportunities for self employed Therapists!

Due to high demand for our services and the retirement of longstanding members, we are looking for self-employed therapists to grow our therapy team, in particular therapists with expertise working with adults plus couples and/or children & young people.

​We are looking for experienced therapists BACP/ACC/ UKCP members or equivalent, accredited or working towards accreditation status. Applications are welcomed from counsellors, psychotherapists, counselling psychologists, family therapists and play therapists.

We are looking for people to join our board as a trustee. Sevenoaks Counselling is a limited company as well as a registered charity. Trustees, who are also directors of the limited company, provide strategic direction and oversee the work of the service. They typically meet 6 times a year in evenings either in person or via Zoom.

Sevenoaks District Council are running 20 Free Family Fun Days across the District; these events are a great way for families to enjoy time together over the holidays, with plenty of fun activities on offer. Details in the Leaflet below

We are looking for a counselling student who would like to complete a placement with us starting September 2025. We are a close, experienced and committed team who provide affordable and professional counselling to children and young people, adults, couple and families in the local community. We offer a placement to one student each year. The student is able to see up to 3 adult clients weekly and is provided with free in house supervision. If you are interested in applying , please do contact us on info@sevenoakscounselling.org.uk with a copy of your CV. We will then send an application form for you to complete. The closing deadline is 30 June with interviews to take place in July 2025.
