🌟Happy New Years Eve to you all🌟

As we say goodbye to 2025, I want to recognise that this year looked different for everyone.
For some, it was a year of growth, joy and new beginnings. For others, it may have been heavy, uncertain or incredibly challenging.

Whichever side you found yourself on — or somewhere in between — you made it through. And that alone is something to be proud of.

As we step into a new year, may 2026 bring gentler days, fresh opportunities, and the strength to keep moving forward.
Here’s to healing, hope, and new chapters. ❤️

Happy New Year — we’ve got this. 🎆
We look forward to seeing you all in 2026

🌟 Mental Health Monday: Conduct Disorder (CD) 🌟

This week, we’re talking about Conduct Disorder, a condition often seen in young people where behaviour becomes challenging, aggressive, or rule-breaking.

💭 3 Ways to Support Someone With CD:
✅ Set Clear Boundaries – Consistent expectations help reduce frustration and outbursts.
✅ Look Beneath the Behaviour – Many young people with CD are dealing with stress, trauma, or unmet needs.
✅ Teach Problem-Solving Skills – Working through steps calmly can help reduce impulsive decisions.

🚫 Myth Buster: “Young people with CD are just ‘bad kids.’”

❌ False! CD is a serious mental health condition, not a personality flaw. With support, young people can thrive.

That’s a wrap for this year’s Mental Health Mondays! 💙 We’ll see you in the new year with even more support and wellbeing tips.

🌟 Mental Health Monday: Phobias 🌟

This week’s topic is Phobias—intense fears of specific things or situations (like heights, dogs, or needles).

💭 3 Tips for Coping with Phobias:
✅ Start Slow Exposure – Gradually face the fear in small, safe steps.
✅ Challenge Scary Thoughts – Ask yourself, “What is the actual risk right now?”
✅ Focus on Breathing – Breathing exercises help control panic when fear shows up.

🚫 Myth Buster: “Phobias are silly.”

❌ False! Phobias are real mental health conditions with very real physical reactions.

You’re stronger than you think. 💙 Join us next Monday for the next Mental Health Monday!

🌟 Mental Health Monday: Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) 🌟

This week’s focus is BPD—a condition affecting emotional regulation, relationships, and self-image.

💭 3 Ways to Cope with BPD Symptoms:
✅ Practice Self-Soothing – Use grounding, calming music, or sensory tools to settle overwhelming emotions.
✅ Learn Your Triggers – Understanding what sets off strong emotional reactions can help you prepare.
✅ Use “Pause and Think” Strategies – Give yourself a moment before reacting to strong feelings.

🚫 Myth Buster: “People with BPD are manipulative.”

❌ False! People with BPD often experience emotions more intensely than others—it’s not manipulation, it’s distress.

Let’s keep learning and supporting each other. 💙 Join us again next Monday!

🌟 Mental Health Monday: Bipolar Disorder 🌟

This week, we’re talking about Bipolar Disorder—a condition that causes intense mood changes, from emotional highs (mania) to lows (depression).

💭 3 Tips to Manage Bipolar Symptoms:
✅ Keep a Routine – Regular sleep, meals, and activities help stabilise mood.
✅ Track Your Mood – Using an app or journal helps you spot patterns and triggers.
✅ Reach Out Early – If you feel a mood shift starting, talk to someone you trust.

🚫 Myth Buster: “Bipolar is just mood swings.”

❌ False! Bipolar episodes are intense, long-lasting, and affect energy, sleep, behaviour, and decision-making—not just quick changes in mood.

You’re never alone in this. 💙 See you next Monday for another Mental Health Monday!
