Good morning
And a very happy Sunday to you all ✨🙏🏼

So as most of you know I’m a certified child practitioner.
A part of my job that’s incredibly rewarding.

It has occurred to me of late that an increasing number of children are showing symptoms of stress and anxiety from a young age.
Children are usually keen to learn and very intrigued by anything holistic or spiritual

For example the chakras
Children love looking for colour when having treatment s
They also love learning pressure points on their hands, knowing they can manage things through their hands can be empowering! It can also secretly distract from the current anxiety and give them a new focus , which when in the very heart of anxiety can be so helpful 🤗

This then brings me on to the importance of breathing. The benefits of connecting with our breath and being mindful 🧘‍♂️

Bring this all together and follow it with a guided meditation with the gentle sound of the music and you have 30 minutes of pure wellness

Teaching our children these basic coping skills is a great way to help them feel relaxed and able to cope with their emotions better. As adults we are getting so much better at helping our self care but I feel passionately that the future generations need enlightenment about this too! If taught from childhood it becomes a natural path to follow

The Dalai Lama once said if children were taught to meditate there’d be no war….. think about that for a moment 🫶🌈

The class will hold no more than 5 children so it’s not too overwhelming.
The age group invited will be 8-11 years with a look a doing different age groups in the future 🫶
