No one should face abuse at work—especially those who dedicate their lives to helping others. NHS professionals in GP practices nationwide, are here for patients in their most vulnerable moments. Yet, a shocking 95% of GP staff in South Yorkshire have experienced verbal abuse, and nearly 1 in 5 have faced physical assaults.

This is unacceptable. Listen to Liz, Yvonne and Lucy explain how it really is in GP practices as part of the new Primary Care Sheffield ‘Don’t Leave a Gap’ campaign which shines the light on this growing issue, calling for awareness, respect, and - most importantly - a little kindness.

A small act of kindness can make a big difference. Let’s support the healthcare teams who are always there for us. 💙
