Bracing, Breath & the Pelvic Floor - we are back!

This is the postponed event we know you have all wanted to see!

This time, we listened to you and have created a session just for you.

Our topic is looking at how bracing and breathwork are essential for performance...but what if they’re also the reason your clients plateau, leak, or feel heavy during lifts?

In our upcoming workshop, we’ll explore the good and the bad of the Valsalva maneuver, how bracing affects pelvic floor function, and what signs of system compromise look like in real clients.

It’s not always easy to know what is relevant to you and your clients, so I’d love to spend some time with you- sharing how the pelvic floor works to support performance.

Stay tuned—we’ll bust some myths next and show you how pelvic health fits into your coaching toolkit.

If you want to run faster, jump high or become more powerful, it starts from the ground up.

That means focusing on building robustness and stiffness in the lower leg.

The calves and other areas are often often overlooked when it comes to training yet - injury occurrence is high leading to:

😵 Achilles tendon problems
😵 Plantar fasciitis
😵 Calf/Soleus tears
😵 Shin Splints
+ so much more

To find out how you can...

✅ Build stronger legs
✅ Achieve better results
✅ Overcome reoccurring injuries holding you back

And become a pro injury risk reduction and reaction

Message us the word “Calves” and let’s chat now!

It’s time to be real.

Returning from injury will in most cases be training with the prescience or pain, discomfort and/or tightness.

Sometimes a magic rub, ice packs or k-tape won’t give you immediate relief and it’s the process of following prescribed exercises and/or stretches that will give you the long term solution of reduced aches or pains.

Our first mission as your therapist or coach is to let you know what to expect and provide you with tools to help modify and adjust along the way.

Whilst you’re in pain or discomfort, become curious - what hurts, when does it hurt, what can’t you do - what can you do?

Then it’s time to make a plan with inline with your goals.

If you’re struggling to stay active or train/compete with pain, drop us a message and let’s have a chat 🙏🏼😊

Here is your Monday motivation 💫

We see lots of clients churning over the same plan or rehab exercises for weeks/months or years with barely any results to show.

Now this might be okay if they’re happy with cruising but if you want results, the first thing to look at is actually moving with intention.

This could be:

✅ Running with specific pace, time or distance
✅ Committing to exercises specific to your goal(s)
✅ Controlling tempo and control lifting weights
✅ Working within specific sets/reps & intensity for your chosen goal(s)
✅ Developing movement patterns specific to you

If you want to get quicker, stronger or more agile, you need to focus on the the characteristics specific to what you want to achieve.

And not just doing 3 sets of 10 too light or too heavy (because this won’t get you where you want/need to be).

So our advice for you today is to focus on intention this week!

If you’re not sure if you’re in the right plan, drop us a message and we’d love to help advise where we can 🙌🏼

Have an awesome week ahead!
