A huge well done to Asther who recently completed the Suhua Marathon! One of Taiwan’s most scenic coastal races, running along the dramatic east coast between mountains and the Pacific Ocean! 🏔️

This was Asther’s first Marathon, and it just happened to be one of the hilliest and hardest Marathon’s in Taiwan 👀 Asther had some help from the Accelerate Physio and Coaching team, with Stu creating specialised training and strength programmes, and Taylor with regular soft tissue and sports massage.

We are very excited to see and hear about what Races/challenges Asther has coming up, but for now enjoy some well earned rest! 😆

WOW... The results are in!

The Christmas Lucky Dip has been counted up and we have managed to raise £346 for Sheffield Children's Hospital. A huge thanks to everyone who took part in our lucky dip, it's all going to a great cause.

Lets see what we can do next Christmas 💫

A huge thanks to Salomon last week for bringing along the Ultra Glide 4 to our community groups.

A mixture of different terrains across Sheffield and plenty of great feedback for the all day trail cruisers. We even had the pleasure of some magical skylines as you can see.

Team Accelerate athletes have been busy the last couple weeks, with Len and Oliver taking on the ,and Garry doing the 🏃🏻‍♂️All 3 managed to smash their PB’s, showing off the hard work they have been putting in recently! Here is what they had to say about their races:

Oliver - “Massive confidence boost and In total 00:02:38 knocked off my 10k time in the 7 months I’ve been coached by stu 😁👍🏼” 36:58.

Len - “With a pre-race PB of 49.40 I was over the moon to take almost 2 mins off that with a finish of 47:47.
A tough run but helped by great support!”

Gary - “All things worked out and I managed to get cross the line in 1:28.49 which was a 3:20 PB from the Great North Run in 2024. Massive thank you to Stu for his coaching, counselling and belief, without it I will still be an injured runner, and not achieving what I did today. Also massive thank you to the team, it’s a fantastic group of people and a brilliant community to be in.”

A great couple weeks of racing with loads more to come this year!
