I cannot recommend this wonderful family business enough. The care and empathy shown by Peter, Oliver and Julie was so touching and nothing was too much trouble. Always available and accommodating.
They cared for my darling wife with dignity and we felt she was in a safe place.
We visited several times, and it was never a problem, even took the dogs, who else would allow that, they just bent over backwards to accommodate us.
On the day of the funeral, the cars and bearers were immaculate. Peter went out of his way to drive to and stop at a place close to our hearts before heading to the service.
This is a small family run business, they really do put your family and loved ones first, they go over and beyond what other companies would do, they really do care about getting it perfect, and perfect it was.
Thank you for making the saddest day of my life so wonderful.

Direct Cremation or Unattended Cremation as it is also known is becoming increasingly popular as a service for a loved one.

With the rise of certain funeral advertisements on the television which tend to bombard us through the day, we seem to have lost sight of the fact that your local independent family funeral director can carry out this service for you.

Choosing a local funeral director ensures that you can speak to someone face to face and you will know that your loved one is being cared for in facilities which meet high standards.

As a small local independent funeral director we can provide a direct cremation. We will collect your loved one day or night (we do not charge extra for collecting a loved one afer 5pm), whether this be from a family address or a nursing home.

If the person has passed in a hospital or hospice we will bring them into our care as soon as we have the required paperwork.

We will dress your loved one in their clothes if you so wish, and we also let family and friends view their loved one during normal office hours with no charge.

We use a local crematorium and you can choose the date on which you wish the direct cremation to take place.

Direct cremation is not the service for everyone, but we have seen a definite increase in the last year of these services being asked for, whether it be because of financial restraints, or at the request of the deceased and family, respect and dignity is always maintained regardless of which service is required.

Our price for this personal service is £1250.00 which includes also collecting the ashes and returning if you wish. There are no additional charges at all. Please give us a call if you wish to discuss this type of service further.

a funeral with pictures to some music during the service is becoming very popular.

Music evokes special memories and that special song put to a picture collage provides
a lovely way to celebrate the life of the person who has passed, in pictures.

A single picture can also be included in the crematorium service for no extra charge.
