** IMPORTANT INFORMATION **

We’d like to announce our expanding opening hours at our Renishaw surgery.

From this week, Wednesday 15th October 2025, Renishaw will now be open on a Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 6pm.

We hope this will help increase our clinical capacity in line with increasing patient demand.

Our services are available Mon-Fri 8am-6:30pm (online, phone & across both sites). Please refer to our website for site specific opening times.

Today the winter Flu/Covid vaccination season starts.

We have plenty of appointments and vaccines, we will continue to send booking links to those eligible who haven’t yet booked in

You can also call to book in, or Flu can be given at any scheduled appointment with a nurse/ANP/GP.

A reminder that the Covid vaccine criteria is different this year so you may not be offered both

From this month, the NHS is expanding the shingles vaccination programme.

Adults aged 18+ who have a very weak immune system are now eligible for the shingles vaccine.

You don’t need to wait for an invitation — you can book at your GP practice.

The Covid/Flu vaccination program starts on the 1st October 2025.

* We have started to put on our Flu/Covid clinics - starting 2nd October.

* Eligible patients will be sent a booking invite shortly.

* Unfortunately Covid can’t be given outside of a scheduled clinic, Flu can be given adhoc so please ask at your Nurse/GP/ANP appointments if you are eligible.

** IMPORTANT INFO **

Today you may see in the media that the injection (Mounjaro) is available in primary care on the NHS for weight loss.

Derbyshire have not provided a service for this yet - When they do have a service up and running the criteria will be:

(BMI >40 and at least 4 health conditions from a specific list. )

**Please do not contact the surgery regarding the injections as we are unable to provide this and there is no Derbyshire service to refer to yet. **
