Today we had the pleasure of hosting 240 Y3/4 girls at .s8 for our Girls Football Festival in collaboration with . It was brilliant to see so many girls take part and leave with a beaming smile on their face.

My highlight being a number of girls explaining that they have never played football before but it’s now their favourite sport and they want to play football everyday!

Massive thank you to and for the support of their fantastic sports leaders who made the event so positive. They supported the girls, made them feel safe and confident whilst the games took place. We couldn’t have delivered the event without you! ❤️

It’s been a brilliant week of Sports Hall Athletics events at . With over 240 Y5/6 children taking part, representing their schools brilliantly, demonstrating great determination, support and resilience.

We are so greatful for the amazing help from and Y9 Sports Leaders. As always, we can never deliver our events without your support ❤️

Brilliant day with for the Birley Cluster Y3/4 Dodgeball Festival.

We witnessed over 60 children from Charnock Hall and St John Fisher school take part in an inclusive dodgeball format, encompassing teamwork, determination and sportsmanship.

Huge thank you to the Y9 Birley Sports Leaders who were outstanding today and truly made the event extremely positive. We couldn’t have done it without you ❤️

My highlight of the day was learning that a child at the event had a fear of dodgeball but left the event with a huge smile on their face and got involved in every activity and supported their team at every opportunity!

Well done to everyone who took part. There were fantastic teamwork, integrity and most importantly lots of smiles

As always, a massive thank you to our incredible Y9 Sports Leaders from who continue to do an incredible job whenever they volunteer at events such as this.

What a fantastic day of rugby! Over 160 children took part in an action-packed festival full of teamwork, energy, and smiles 🙌

A huge thank you to the brilliant Post 16 and Post 16 students for their amazing support throughout the day. Your enthusiasm and leadership made the event a real success 👏💪

We look forward to greeting the schools who have qualified for the city finals on the 17th Nov.
