It has been a special couple of days at for the Aqua Fest. We welcomed 21 schools (250 children) to participate and sport students who supported the event brilliantly.

We are grateful to everyone who were able to join us and for taking the time to organise their visits. We hope everyone involved had the best time and congratulations to the schools who will go on to represent Sheffield in the South Yorkshire finals in April.

🏉 Rugby League is Back with Sheffield Forgers RLFC Join them for the New Season! 🏉

Forgers are excited to kick off the new rugby league season and can’t wait to welcome new and returning players!

Sheffield Hawks ARLFC are inviting boys and girls in Years 2 & 3 to come and give Rugby League a go 🏉

This is a fun, active and friendly taster session - perfect for children who love running around, playing games and trying something new.

No experience needed, no pressure and no expectations… just smiles, movement and enjoyment in a safe, supportive environment.

Fantastic day of Your School Games Primary and Secondary Sports Hall Athletics Sheffield Finals at English Institute of Sport, Sheffield alongside Points Learning Network . We had 15 different schools in attendance with over 200 children giving their absolute best efforts. Everyone represented their schools perfectly and we hope everyone left the event knowing they did their best.

Massive thank you to the lovely and brilliant Tapton Sports Leaders who supported the event. You all did a fantastic job in which we could not deliver this event without your support.

Big thank you to Leyton and Omar, Sheffield Hallam University students who are on placement with Arches School Sport Partnership and Links School Sport Partnership

Congratulations to all the schools who have qualified for the South Yorkshire Finals on the 19th March. We look forward to seeing you all in action again soon.

Massive thank you to everyone who attended the Y4 Hotshots Basketball event . The children represented theirs schools impeccably and we hope they all returned home proud of their achievements. The winner will now go on to represent Sheffield in the South Yorkshire finals at , the home of and .

Thank you so much to our incredible Y9 Sports Leaders from . You have been instrumental to the positivity of the event, ensuring all the children were safe and had a great experience.

Well done Lydgate! Always great to see you go on to do amazing things

A massive congratulations to our Y6 boys' football team. They played in the South Yorkshire regional finals of the ESFA Pokémon Primary Schools' Cup Competition. The boys drew 2 games and won 3, scoring 13 goals on the day. This meant that they progressed to the final of the competition and played Hunters Bar with the next round of the cup up for grabs. The final was an exciting game and could have gone either way. However, Hunters Bar were able to win the game 1-0. We wish them the very best of luck for the next round.
It has been a fantastic journey for our Y6 boys and they have been an absolute credit to themselves and our school - we are incredibly proud of all of them🌟
