What are floaters?

Floaters appear as black spots or strands that look like hair. They can be semi transparent or dark and appear to float in your vision. Sometimes they may appear more noticeable than others.

They are common and usually harmless but a sudden increase can be an indication of a more serious condition and an eye examination is a must.
