Based in West Yorkshire, In Harmony Physiotherapy covers Yorkshire and surrounding areas. After graduating from University with a first class degree in Physiotherapy and a previous degree in Sports Therapy, I have since worked in the NHS for 7 years as a Physiotherapist and have specialised in sports injury, rehabilitation and soft tissue massage. I am now using the many skills I have learnt to specialise in the assessment and treatment of equestrian athletes.

🌟 MEMBER MONDAYS 🌟

All our category A members are Chartered Physiotherapists, qualifying initially in human physiotherapy and then post graduate education in animal physiotherapy.
Chartered Physiotherapists have specialist knowledge in anatomy, biomechanics, physiology and pathology. The considerable experience gained in the human field develops refined clinical reasoning and practical skills which are largely transferrable to animal physiotherapy. Many of our members are involved in post graduate research up to PhD level, teaching physiotherapy students and delivering high quality training to other allied veterinary professionals.

Naturally our members are proud of their Chartered status, and we are proud of them and their work!

First up in our is Kate Hesse BPhysio MSc MCSP ACPAT Cat A who specialises in racehorses and works in Newmarket. One of Kate’s patients was the incredible Enable: winner of 11 Group 1s.

Our Story

In Hamony Physiotherapy is run by Chartered Physiotherapist and Veterinary Physiotherapist Samantha Greenwood. Based in West Yorkshire, In Harmony Physiotherapy covers Yorkshire and surrounding areas providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for humans, small and large animals.

After graduating from University with a first class degree in Physiotherapy and a previous degree in Sports Therapy, I have now completed my PgDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Liverpool University becoming an ACPAT Cat A member and hope to continue my studies completing my Masters.

I worked in the NHS for 7 years gaining valuable experience and skills as a Physiotherapist. I now specialise in palliative care, something I am very passionate about. I use the many specialist skills and knowledge I have gained to provide comprehensive assessment and treatments for humans, small and large animals. I have completed advanced training in the assessment and treatment of equine athletes enabling me to carry out specific rider physiotherapy.

Additionally, I have a specialist interest in providing a palliative care service to animals with long-term or palliative conditions utilising my expertise and background to enhance quality of life.
