Today has marked the first day of I’m A Celebrity (Carer) get me out of here🦟🦗🪲

Today we had our first ever bushtucker trial which involved different gruesome milkshakes🥤🫗

Staff and the people we support will be competing over the month with a variety of inclusive activities to win stars⭐️

Over the last few months we have been working on a online booking system.
This system will allow people we support and their families to: View available nights
Book nights online
Cancel upcoming appointments
Be added to a standby list where a night is full.
Receive confirmation of booked nights.

We will be in touch with people we support and their family members once the system is fully live with more information on how to use the system

We have been working hard these last few weeks to create our first sensory bedroom.
The room is a daisy room
Over the next 12 months our aim is to do something similar in further rooms. Until all rooms have a sensory incorporated into them

We're having a busy week at Blossom View. This week is national chocolate week🍫 so we've been baking yummy treats and our lovely manager brought every member of staff a hot chocolate sachet to enjoy😊 yesterday was also national handwashing day so we used our ultraviolet machine to check the effectiveness of handwashing to ensure we are effectively minimising the risk of infection.

Please also see the picture of Megan, one of our Team Leaders, using our new mobile desk to carry out the daily walk round where we check quality assurance, maintenance and the cleanliness of Blossom View. The mobile desk makes it much easier for our Management team to complete a detailed and effective report

Today we have enjoyed a day out bowling and then a nice pub lunch after😁

We have had a treasure hunt to find the gold, we have played pass the parcel and enjoyed a lovely evening buffet🍕🍪

Today some of the people we support enjoyed swimming at the lesiure centre, we enjoyed splashing, stretching and throwing the floating balls🏊🏼‍♂️

🎉🎪Circus Day 🎪🎉
The people we support have thoroughly enjoyed watching the circus at Wentworth Woodhouse today 😆 The people we support were amazed with the circus acts and it put a smile on everyone's faces 🎪👍😁

Today we have enjoyed a summer stroll through the woods and seen different birds and some squirrels along the way☀️

Today in the morning we enjoyed a trip on the bus to Chapeltown for some shopping🛒

This afternoon we enjoyed a trip to the pantomime at clumber park! We enjoyed singing along and getting involved with the show🎤🎪
