We are pleased to have now been recognised as part of Sheffield's Network of Family Hubs! We are a Transcultural Family Hub, here to support the families and the community in our local area, keeping culture at the heart of everything that we do.

Not only are we running an Ofsted Outstanding Early Years and nursery provision for children aged 0-5 years, we are home to Emosi, our Transcultural Therapeutic Centre where children can access Art and Music Therapy to support their emotional and behavioural needs. We continue to host many different groups and events to support our families and the wider community, and we look forward to sharing more of what we have planned soon! Please reach out to us if you have any questions about our services and we will be happy to help.

On Saturday we hosted a powerful event titled, Visible, Invisible Black Women in the Workplace exploring the theme of "What is it like to be a Black Woman within Sheffield Work Spaces?" with Dr Victoria Showunmi.

The event was well attended, with individuals sharing their powerful personal experiences navigating workplace systems as a Black Woman. Our attendees really valued the event and being able to access this safe space, and we look forward to repeating this event in the future. Please get in touch with us for more information, or to register your interest for a future event!

We were delighted to be visited by the Lord Lieutenant, Dame Hilary Chapman, and the High Sheriff, Professor Jaydip Ray, last week here at the nursery and Emosi to share our work and our Transcultural therapy space with them! We are grateful for their time and the support they showed us!
We talked about the need for our therapeutic services which support children to connect with their cultural identity and sense of self, and process any challenging emotions or experiences which are impacting their sense of belonging in the world they live in. They had a tour of the nursery and Emosi, and had a chance to meet some of our nursery children also!
