🚨 We’re Recruiting: Event Medical - Main Control Dispatcher (Part-Time/Occasional) - South Yorkshire🚨

Echo Fire and Medical Ltd are looking for a dedicated and attentive individual to join our major venues and events team as a Main Control Dispatcher.

In this vital role, you’ll be based in the main event control room alongside security, event managers, emergency service agencies and other key stakeholders.

Your responsibility will be to:

* Dispatch and coordinate Echo’s medical response teams to incidents across the venue.
* Record and document communications with our crews in real time.
* Work closely with security, event management and other emergency service colleagues to ensure swift, effective, and professional responses to any medical incidents.

This isn’t a main ambulance control room role – it’s an event-based position, playing a key part in keeping hundreds of thousands of visitors safe at concerts, stadiums, and arena events each year.

We’re looking for someone who is:

✅ Calm and confident under pressure
✅ Organised and attentive to detail
✅ A clear communicator with strong teamwork skills
✅ Keen to make a real difference in safety and emergency response

🕒 Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends, aligning with public event times. This is a part-time/occasional position, ideal for someone looking to gain unique experience in the fast-paced world of event safety and emergency response. It may also suit former emergency service personnel who have retired from frontline duties but wish to play a key role in supporting our medical teams in delivering care to our communities.
