To my valued patients, I am posting to update regarding a small adjustment to session rates with a £5 increase in fees, effective 1st February.
This aligns more closely with other local physiotherapy services whilst maintaining a fair and competitive rate.

What you are getting for your money:

20+ years of experience provides me with clinical intuition and recognition of a vast range of conditions. Allowing me to make safe and effective decisions on the best care and rehabilitation for your problem area.

Hands on therapy and assessment, with pressing, feeling and moving joints/soft tissue over the years gives me an acute awareness of what's tight, stiff or doesn't feel normal and techniques to help.

Ongoing training ensures that the treatment I provide is, where possible, evidence informed and effective.

Thank you for your ongoing support and trust in me to help with your aches and pains.

Please note that online bookings have already been updated with the new fees, rest assured old fees do remain until February.

All finished for Christmas and just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you for your support and keeping me busy for another year, I am extremely grateful.
I'm back in a week today but currently full until the 9th Jan ( cancellations are common in flu season so still check 'book online' via the website, or message me if you are struggling).
No moving dates as yet so still in the same location for a little while yet.

Springvale physio is moving ( probably shouldn't have called it Springvale physio 🙄) to Upper Cumberworth possibly some time in February. Our family of 4 are becoming an extended family of 7 with grandad and 2 small people.

Where is Upper Cumberworth? It's literally a 10 minute drive from where we are now. If you know the Sovereign pub and the petrol garage opposite, it's a right turn, not far down Barnsley Road (my directions are the best aren't they 😆)

Still a clinic from home, we have a fabulous physio room with our own patient access. There is plenty of parking on the road outside and for anyone with mobility issues, I can come and collect you with a wheelchair.

I really hope existing patients will continue with me and support this new chapter in our lives.

I will post when we have an actual moving date and I'm still in Springvale for now.

Now do I continue with the same name? Springvale Physio in Upper Cumberworth 🤔

You know when you're laid in bed and an advert pops up and you're like great idea I'll have one of those then you forget about it until you see the email the next morning. Well I seem to have subscribed to a defib. Hopefully I'll never have to use it, although my eldest who has just done her life support training said "weird fact mum,, 40+% of people that get a defib have to use it in the first 4 to 5 month ( erm hope I've not pre empted something..quick send it back)

Love this, I do feel proud of my little business, more so that I also work full time for the NHS, have managed to complete a few masters modules and other courses. As well as have a clean ( ish) home. Im still in a converted garage from home but it works. The kids have mostly been on their best behavior over the years, even though their whispering can be pretty loud 😄 the dogs are another story. My marketing has been rubbish and I've really relied on word of mouth. I'm always busy so thank you everyone.

Lesson learnt for me today on ordering £180 of aesthetic prescription product, my nurse prescriber making the journey after a long day at work to do the prescription consultation. Me paying for this consultation for the client not to turn up. Lesson learnt on asking for payment up front for something that cannot be used on anyone else as its a prescription 😔. Grumble grumble

A nice little christmas box from Ostenil. I'm having such good feedback with joint injections for arthritic joints with this product. This can also be used on tendon problems such as tennis/golfers elbow or rotator cuff problems
